The NARS Andy Warhol Collection is likely one of the most anticipated collections of the year. On a personal note, this collection has been long awaited for by me not only because of how AMAZING everything looks, but because of the fact that Andy Warhol is a native of Pittsburgh and has an entire museum showcasing his work located in the city. I’m a hometown girl!
The only Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner released with this collection is 47th Street. It’s a shade with your standard black base and a little bit of flash!
47th Street is described as Black with Silver Shimmer. The formula on this is so smooth, and the glitters don’t make it skip or become uneven. Normally a shimmer or glitter will be bothersome on my waterline, but I didn’t have any reaction to this particular shade. It didn’t last long directly on the waterline area, but stayed the day on the upper lid and below the lower lash line without fading or migration.
This liner is self sharpening, and there is a mini-sharpener on the back end to keep the tip pointed and precise.
Factoid! Location, Location, Location!
The Factory was Andy Warhol’s original New York Studio from 1963 to 1968, although his later studios were known as The Factory as well. The Factory was located on the fifth floor at 231 East 47th Street, between Second Avenue and Third Avenue. (Source)
