China Glaze NO PLAIN JANE, DEVIANTLY DARING Nail Polish Swatches and Review – New Bohemian Luster Chrome Fall 2012

August 2, 2012

For Fall 2012 China Glaze is taking no prisoners and is releasing a six-piece specialty collection of luster chromes – New Bohemian.  Of those released I’m thrilled to be able to share two of them with you – No Plain Jane and Deviantly Daring.

No Plain Jane

No Plain Jane is described as a lavish lavender-pink.  This shade is definitely a brilliant and vibrant lavender.  I’m not seeing any pink, though.  Maybe a bit of pink and blue in the shimmers.  The formula was a little thin, but applied nicely.  It was a bit streaky, which is to be expected.  In the photos above I used three coats of polish.

Deviantly Daring

Deviantly Daring is described as an adventurously bold peacock teal.  The formula was better on this one, not as thin.  Only two coats were needed for the photos.  Obviously the shade is GORGEOUS.  You need this SO.MUCH.

For more information on the New Bohemian Collection, please see the Official Press Release.

The China Glaze® New Bohemian collection will be available at fine salons and beauty supply stores nationwide in August 2012.  Individual polishes retail for $6.99 MSRP.

China Glaze is free of DBP, toluene, and added formaldehyde.  China Glaze nail lacquers are available through salons and professional beauty supply stores nationwide.  For more information, visit: www.chinaglaze.com or follow China Glaze on Facebook (@ChinaGlaze), Twitter (@ChinaGlazeOfficial) and Pinterest (www.pinterest.com/ChinaGlaze).  China Glaze is a division of American International Industries.

I think China Glaze always has the nicest colors but unfortunately it never lasts for me =[ ..I always find my nails chipping a few hours or one day later. So frustrating! I wish they would change their formula to make it last longer!
