Five lipsticks (Fire Sign, Cusp of Dawn, Pleasureseeker, Cut a Caper, and Venus) have released with the July 2012 Collection of Heavenly Creature by MAC. Always on the hunt for the next best red, Fire Sign was an immediate addition to my shopping bag.
Fire Sign is described as a red-pink and is a lustre. If you’ve ever had a fear of wearing a red lip, the lustre formula is the best way to ease into it. It’s light, and can be layered for more color and pigment.
As for Fire Sign, I found it to, thankfully, not be as pink as I’d imagined. It worked well on my skin tone and was moisturizing. Above, I layered it quite a bit to get the color to show up well. Lustre finishes don’t last too long… an hour or two at best, but they’re soothing and simple to reapply.
If Fire Sign is sold out or not your color, but you’re still looking for a lustre red from MAC, check out Lady Bug!
For more information on the Heavenly Creature collection, please see the Official Press Release.
MAC Lipstick retails for $14.50 and can be purchased at your local MAC counter (try Nordstrom) or store, as well as online at maccosmetics.com.

I expected it to hit REALLY fuchsia on me, but I am pleasantly surprised!
