Dior has gone with a Jungle theme for Fall 2012… Golden Jungle to be exact! Three polishes will release with this collection including Golden Light, Amazonia, and today’s post of Bengale.
It may look like just your average brown cream in the bottle… but on the nail, Bengale is a whole other story!

Bengale is a cream polish, that my hubby says is brown, but it’s not. Try a deep, dark, yummy taupe. Most definitely. It’s just far enough away from brown to not make me feel like I have mud on my fingers. The above swatch is three thin coats, but you could get away with using two thicker coats.
As always, the formula on Dior polishes are amazing. They glide on as smooth and light as silk. I do recommend a top coat to stave off chipping. Dior also carries my favorite thick, yet tapered brush for application perfection.
Fun Finger Tip – I love the effect that layering Golden Light on top of Bengale gives off. It’s probably ranked in my top 3 favorite polish combos of all time. One coat of Golden Light gives off a hit of golden ore.
And a blurry shot to see the sparkle:
I can’t wait to show you what it does to Amazonia 😉

Dior Vernis in Bengale is available beginning August 1, 2012 at Dior.com. The retail is $23.00.
