You’ve probably tried a lot of hair masks to try and tame that Summer hair. You know what I mean. The kind that frizzes… dulls… looks eaten alive because you’re living in the pool.
How abouts you pick up one that works? Kérastase Masquintense for Fine Hair worked for me. And there really aren’t many products out there that I can say that about, especially by way of silk and shine.
There are two formulas, one is tailored for thick hair, and one for fine. I used to have thick hair, but since having kids made my hair go all mean, it’s now thinned and fine. Bring on the Fine Hair formula!
It doesn’t say on the bottle or box, but to use – Apply a quarter-sized amount to towel-dried hair and massage through from roots to ends. Leave on for 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
I must say, that after I blow dried my hair and smoothed it out using the InStyler (love love love!) my hair looked all commercial like… shiny, healthy, smooth… basically beautiful. The type of hair people want to touch. (Though, if they want to keep their fingers, they’d better not!)
The price might look steep, but you’re getting A LOT of product. You won’t need a ton to put in your hair. I used less than the quarter sized amount (my hair is a bit past my shoulders) and then combed it through before I let it sit. It doesn’t even look like I used anything out of the jar. You can do this 2-3 times a week, or once a week… depending on how over-processed your hair is. You’ll know best what you need.
Kérastase Masquintense for Fine Hair retails for $60.00 (for 200ml). You can pick this up online at the Kerastase website or use the salon locator for your nearest retailer.

Just a question, I recently purchased this product and I was wondering if you use your regular conditioner first or do you not use conditioner when you use this??
Brooke says
I believe it would depend on your hair type. If your hair gets oily or weighed down easily then you would just want to go with a Shampoo then the mask. If you have heavy or coarse hair and are in need of extra conditioning, you’d be okay with using both. My hair tends to get oily on top so I just used the Kerastase in place of a conditioner.
