We all have our favorite mascara. If you’re like me, it’s basically impossible to find one that is waterproof that you love. My usage of waterproof mascara is as follows… I go to the store and purchase the cheapest one I can find for a one time use for sad events. After sad event is done, the mascara is thrown out. I just don’t like them.
What if I told you there was a clear top coat you could put on your lashes, making ANY mascara that you own instantly waterproof? Well there is. And it WORKS.
The Anastasia Lash Genius Waterproof Topcoat can make ANY mascara waterproof without ruining the effectiveness of the curling or lengthening elements that your mascara may boast.
What the Sephora website has to say about Lash Genius Waterproof Topcoat:
What it is:
A clear topcoat that instantly waterproofs, refreshes, and protects any mascara all day, without drying or clumping. What it does:
This advanced, lightweight formula glides on smooth, dries quickly, and gives your lashes a touchable, soft lacquer finish that lasts all day. What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
I’ve tested this top coat over mascaras from MAC and Giorgio Armani, and they do not BUDGE when the Lash Genius Waterproof Topcoat is worn with them. I’ve even added the top coat on after half a day of wearing the regular mascara and it still did it’s job, but didn’t do anything gross to the mascara.
And you know how when you wear waterproof mascara, but then you cry a lot and you STILL get the weird mascara flakies on your cheeks? You won’t with this.
This product is insanely perfect for people like me, who only need a waterproof mascara for sad events. Now that I have an easy to use topcoat, I’ll be able to make my eyes look gorgeous for pool days, sweaty days… any day I feel like, without wasting money on a cheapo waterproof mascara that I’m just going to throw out.
Anastasia Lash Genius Waterproof Topcoat retails for $21.00 and is available at Sephora, Ulta, Beauty.com, and Nordstrom.
