Recently MAC launched their always anticipated Summer 2012 3-part Collection. This year it’s entitled Hey, Sailor! This post will focus on Emerald Sea Powerpoint Eye Pencil, which is part of the Colour Collection. Three Powerpoint Eye Pencils came out with Hey, Sailor!, but Emerald Sea is the most vivid and fun of the trio.

A kohl pencil that has all the intensity and colour-power of ultra-soft carbon. Provides deep, fully opaque coverage and an intense, smoked finish with duo-chrome pearl. Emerald Sea is described as a kelly green. It doesn’t look like much in the swatch above, but on the eye it’s phenomenal and literally makes your eyes pop off of your face (you’ll see tomorrow when I post the Hey, Sailor! FOTD!).
Powerpoint Eye Pencils are a waterproof kohl, making them less likely to budge, but still soft enough to glide on easily and without skipping. I don’t personally have a problem with these eye pencils migrating, but they do tend to fade a bit on me after several hours during a particularly hot day.
I didn’t initially think that this particular shade of green would strike my fancy… but there is just so much you can do with it from lining just the lower waterline, lining all around the eye, or even using as a secondary eye shadow base to make your lighter colors pop. You can count me as Emerald Sea Powerpoint Eye Pencils newest and most loyal fan!
