Le Metier de Beaute has a top-notch array of skin products and face makeup. A stand out division of this is the Peau Vierge line. A line which not only conceals, but corrects.
A new shade, Medium, has entered the family of Peau Vierge Correcteur Concealers. Considering that this product has made me a concealer convert, I’m excited to share my thoughts with you!
What the Neiman Marcus website has to say about Peau Vierge Correcteur Concealer:
Editor’s pick in InStyle magazine’s “Best of Beauty” (May 2010, p210).A luxuriously creamy corrective concealer that stimulates collagen production, increases blood flow, lessens dark circles, smoothes fine lines, blurs blemishes, and tightens pores within a week of once daily use.
Contains anti-aging powerhouse Retinol, known for its ability to smooth and plump wrinkles from deep below the skin’s surface, stimulating collagen cell rejuvenation and bringing elasticity back to skin.
- Retinol is delivered through a patented and proprietary delivery technology called Syntoc Actif which encapsulates the Retinol and allows it to safely and effectively penetrate the skin.
- Traditional over-the-counter products have very poor penetration—less than 2% of active ingredients are actually absorbed. In comparison, with Syntoc Actif, 20 times more Retinoic Acid is absorbed into the deeper skin layers, making it the most effective cosmetic Retinoid treatment on the market.
- Paraben, Talc, Fragrance, and Dye-Free.
The Syntoc Actif delivery technology is highly compatible with the skin and easy to metabolize. As a result, it delivers actives more efficiently and effectively, allowing the active ingredients to penetrate deepest layer of the skin where the all the action is and deliver Retinol where it is most effective.
How to use: Apply once daily to problem areas and see results within ONE week.
Peau Vierge Correcteur Concealer is amazing across the board. The feel is not waxy or stiff, but rather smooth and creamy. I dot the product underneath my eyes to conceal lines and dark circles, as well as in other problem areas such as underneath the nostrils and on blemishes. The formula is thick, so be sure to use sparingly.
Lately I’ve given up on concealer, because at the end of the day I just didn’t think it made a difference on my face. When I use the Peau Vierge Concealer, it keeps me covered all day long, as well as aids in the reduction of lines and blemishes. I finally have my three-step HG face routine of LMdB Peau Vierge Correcteur Concealer, 3LAB Perfect BB Cream, and Lancome Dual Finish Powder. Score!
Le Metier de Beaute Peau Vierge Correcteur Concealer retails for $95.00 and is available at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman.

I’ve always been curious about this concealer and whether using it daily under my eyes would show any skincare benefits. I’m not sure whether the lightest shade would be light enough though?

when I swatched the medium I thought it might end up too dark on my face, but it actually wasn’t bad! You’d probably do well with the light. I wonder if next time you order they could slice off a little sample to send you?
