Not all NARS Duo Eyeshadows can be worn together… sometimes the shades are perfectly matched, and other times your average makeup user wouldn’t even dream of applying both for the same look.
At first glance, Marie-Galante wouldn’t be a shades I’d throw together. After playing around with it a bit, however, it’s looking pretty darn good.

It’s just such a huge difference! So, so beautiful! If you REALLY don’t want to wet your shadow, please consider using a pigmented base. A great one for this duo would be to use NARS Calabria Soft Touch Shadow Pencil (also from Summer 2012) sheered out on the lid, then apply Marie-Galante.

That last pic is so nice! That’s a keeper forever pic. I love the way you made the shadows work for you. You’re so creative! I would never have thought to use them that way.
I want this duo so badly but I’m nervous about how sheer it is. I am not a fan of sheer shadows. It does look gorgeous wet though! Hmmm…
it’s beautiful! but MUST be worn wet or as a dusting over a dark base.
I love Nars but this collection is one I’m passing up. I just haven’t read much great about the shadows in this or the trio.
