NARS Pure Matte Lipsticks are arguably one of the most moisturizing matte lipsticks on the market. I know, if I’m going to choose a matte shade, it’s going to be NARS.
For Summer 2012, NARS has released the awesomest of all awesome Pure Matte Lipsticks – Moscow. You guys, this color is so on point (for my tone anyway). It’s a shade that can be worn bold or toned down… and versatile enough to work with many different looks.

Moscow is described as a strawberry red, but when layered it’s more of a warm sienna brick red. Moscow looks great layered on thickly for a nice pigmented lip (shown above), or dabbed on for more of a stain effect. I’m excited to get my hands on Buenos Aires Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil to layer with!
These lipsticks don’t seem to have the issues other matte lipsticks do, such as drying, cracking, and spot fading. It’s a great choice when going for a more refined lip, and Moscow will really make your pucker stand out!

Hmm sounds like a good matte lipstick to start with! I’ve never liked matte lipsticks because they’re drying.
