In full disclosure – I actually haven’t purchased any of Dior Summer 2012 yet. Saint Tropez 401 is borrowed from a friend. The reason I haven’t purchased anything from this line yet is because I have been waiting to see it in person (which is happening tomorrow) so I can be sure of what I want. (Update – Bikini has also been swatched and reviewed).
What the Sephora website has to say about Vernis Nail Lacquer:
What it is:
A dazzling, chip-resistant nail lacquer.What it does:
Dior Vernis Nail Lacquer will add a splash of luminous color to any look. The long-lasting, glossy formula goes on silky smooth and the vibrant shade adds a tantalizing touch to fingertips and toes.
Saint Tropez is a BEAUTIFUL shade of creamy turquoise blue. There are probably similar shades out there, but few will have Dior’s exquisite formula and top notch wide/pointed brush. I did use three coats for the swatch photo, but you would be fine with two.
This shade has been released previously during the Summer of 2011, but was exclusive to select Dior boutiques and online at Dior.com. There was a lot of buzz about it then, so it’s really great that it’s now more widely available!
Final verdict, I will definitely be purchasing this for myself when I hit the store tomorrow. SO gorgeous! I don’t know why I even play around, I always know I’m going to love Dior polishes.
Dior Vernis Nail Lacquer retails for $23.00. Saint Tropez is currently available at Sephora (where it’s marked as Limited Edition), as well as at your local Dior counter or store and online at Dior.com.

I swatched this on my pinky today, and it’s not as bad as I thought it’d be! It doesn’t look as nice as what it does on you, but it’s not totally weird on my very warm and yellow skin tone either. I’d take a chance to say it might work for a lot of people!
