Satin and Matte formulas are my favorite blush formulas. The pigment is always nice and the look smooth. So, it’s safe to say, when MAC released the Très Cheek collection I all but lost my mind.
Unfortunately, I only allowed myself to choose two shades – Modern Mandarin and Lovecloud. After swatching all of the shades in person, those two seemed to suit my skin tone the best.
What the MAC website has to say about Powder Blush:
Colour for the cheeks and face. Various formulas. Different looks.
6 g / 0.21 US oz
Modern Mandarin (red-orange, satin) is the shade of a bright tangerine. This blush has extreme pigment, but looks gorgeous when applied lightly and sheered out. The formula is satin and offers a nice sheen.
Lovecloud (bright mid-tone pink, satin) is a cheerful, lollipop pink. This one also has good pigment, but you don’t have to be as careful at applying it as you do with Modern Mandarin. The formula is satin, but almost reminds me of a frost. On the cheek it isn’t as icy, but if you’re looking for a true satin finish you might want to try another shade. I personally LOVE this one.
Overall, the MAC Très Cheek Collection is a huge hit with me. With six different shades to choose from, there is a blush for everyone. Have you purchased any or seen them in store? Which was your favorite?
MAC Powder Blush retails for $20.00. Modern Mandarin and Lovecloud are Limited Edtiion to the Très Cheek Collection. You can find these blushes at your local MAC counter or store, as well as at maccosmetics.com.

I have and love both of these beauties!
Both shades look really nice. I might get Lovecloud. x
