The Sheen Supreme Lipsticks have been out before (see Korean Candy, Blossom Culture, Sheer Mandarin, Bare Again, and Ultra Darling) as a part of the permanent line. The Too Supreme collection is really about introducing a new product – The Sheen Supreme Lipglass (which IS limited edition and will be swatched and reviewed soon!).
Today I have three Sheen Supreme Lipsticks to share with you – Bare Again, Sheer Mandarin, and Fashion City. I have swatched two of these before, and also reviewed this formula several times, but over the months my swatching and photos have gotten better, so no harm in doing it again!
What the MAC website has to say about Sheen Supreme Lipsticks:
Combining the colour impact of a Lipstick with the shine sheen of a Lipglass, Sheen Supreme creates the perfect hybrid – with no compromise. Lightweight, non-sticky, slick to apply and comfortable to wear. This is a must-have for all those who have craved this kind of fusion.

Bare Again
Bare Again (pinky neutral beige) is the perfect neutral for any time, day or night. This is a safe shade to pick up if you’re ordering online and are unsure what color would look best on you.
Sheer Mandarin
Sheer Mandarin (mid-tone yellow orange) is a rather pigmented shade for a lip product with such sheen. The shade reminds me of the Orange Julius drink! Definitely warm and perfect for Summer!
Fashion City
Fashion City (neutral coral with pink) is a light coral pink, not as pigmented as a few of the other shades, but nice and soft for multiple occasions.
With the Sheen Supreme Lipsticks, since the lipstick is round and there is no point to help guide, I like to dab them on. Since these are on the sheer side, this gives a nice tint of color and you can decide from there if you want to swipe it on for layering to achieve more pigment. I have them on pretty heavily in the photos to show the color best. Sheer Mandarin is the most pigmented of the three.
The formula is consistent with the first release of these lipsticks. I’m a huge fan of this product because it’s a less expensive version of the Chanel Rouge Coco Shines. There is just the right amount of pigment to add a bit of color without making the lip look too overdone. Sheer lip products like this are a great way to wet your feet and wear a dark color if you’d normally be timid to do so.
MAC Sheen Supreme Lipsticks retail for $14.50 and are part of the permanent collection available at maccosmetics.com as well as your local MAC counter or store.
