Finally my Ulta got a re-stock of Disco Biscuit! The last Butter London polish from Spring/Summer 2012 that I was lemming! The shade is whimsical, but the name is what really pulled me in. It’s so silly sounding, how could you not love it? Disco Biscuit actually means “A club term from the rave days of the early 90’s for a tablet of Ecstasy” so don’t do drugs, wear polish.
What the Nordstrom website has to say about Butter London polishes:
What is 3 Free? butter LONDON is a 3 Free company: no formaldehyde, no toluene, no DBP (dibutyl phthalate). This luxury nail lacquer is high-fashion, heavily pigmented and safe. butter LONDON believes in rock ‘n’ roll. Great Britain. And Fashion.

Disco Biscuit has a fuchsia base with blue sparkle. I love how the blue jumps off the nail for an awesome 3D effect. I’m over fuchsia polishes, but this one is a little different and fun to wear. I used three coats for the swatch photo and the base still looks rather sheer, so if visible nail line bothers you, I suggest putting this shade over a fuchsia base color. I did use a top coat, however this polish is thirsty, so it sucks it right up (greedy lil sucker!) making the feel gritty and the end look more matte than shiny.
Butter London polishes retail for $14.00 and can be purchased at Nordstrom, Ulta, beauty.com and ButterLondon.com.
