I have never used a Cremeblend Blush before. I know. I’m a huge fan of MAC and have never even swatched one. Not gonna lie… I was super nervous to play with these. Not only is it unexplored MAC territory for me, but they look so bright! Let’s see how they I held up!
What the MAC website has to say about Cremeblend Blush:
Creamy, easy to blend medium coverage formula imparts a natural finish that’s smooth, dewy-fresh, long lasting. The icing on the cake: the collection’s signature gingham outer packaging.
5.6 g / 0.19 US oz
Florida (bright fuchsia) is terrifying in the pot, but a flushed dream on the cheeks. A perfect example of never knowing how much you’ll like something until you try it!
Optimistic Orange (bright coral) is a great go-to color for me, I love corals! It reacted with the natural color in my cheeks and went a bit more pink than I’d have liked, but still left a good tint.
Overall, they blend out to be rather pretty! Initially I used my fingers to dab and blend (as I do with the other cream blushes I’ve applied) but this particular brand of cream blush is best used with a stippling brush (such as the MAC 187 or 188) so that it goes on a bit smoother and blends better. I ended up having to dust some of my powder over my cheeks to blend it out and bring the color down a bit.
Obviously, these are very pigmented blushes, so you’ll want to apply gingerly and build up to to achieve the look you’re going for.
Shop, MAC Cremeblend Blush retails for $20.00 and is currently available at your local MAC Counter (try Nordstrom) or Store. Call ahead to check on availability.
