Givenchy is a brand I’ve actually never delved into for makeup! The Poudre Croisière Healthy Glow Powder looked promising, and I’m excited to share the shade Ambre Croisiere with you!
What the Sephora website has to say about Givenchy Ambre Croisiere Healthy Glow Powder:
What it is:
A talc-free bronzer made of a baked gel. What it does:
Totally weightless and invisible on the skin, this creamy formula provides ultimate softness and a light-as-air natural finish. With a consistency that’s easy to blend, this bronzer can be applied alone with the Givenchy Kabuki brush or over Mister Radiant. Use it year-round to smooth pores, even the skin’s texture, and provide a healthy glow.Sephora is the exclusive beauty retailer for this product.
Size: 0.24 oz
Ambre Croisiere is a nice, light bronzer. I didn’t feel like it was a WOW or did anything special, but if you’re in the market for a nice bronzer, this would be a good choice. If you’re very pale this is a great one to cut your teeth on, because it applies very lightly and you really have to work to get color to show.
I don’t know if I like the design of the powder…. immediately it reminded me of leathery, wrinkled, over-tanned skin. However, even heavy use and swatching of this didn’t damage the design, so that was nice.
The packaging for this powder is so sleek and heavy. It’s smooth and simple, leaving the focus on the product itself.
I applied Ambre Croisiere rather heavily for the photo, because initially when I applied the powder it was not showing up in the photos at ALL. I basically had to get all angry with it lol This is a bit heavier than I’d wear out in public, but it shows the color well and is good for photos 😉
If interested, the eye shadow is the Le Metier de Beaute Silk Road Eye Kaleidoscope, mascara is Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill, and the lipstick is MAC Viva Glam Nicki.
Givenchy Healthy Glow Powder retails for $50.00 and is available at Sephora.

I love this, it looks so pretty. Your skin looks divine.
It would be nice if there were some other shade options though..seems a bit silly to work hard for such a high end item.

thank you! perhaps they’ll come out with more if this one is popular enough!

This is one brand I haven’t tried anything from yet. I am definitely curious! Beautiful product!

It looks great on you , I don’t think it looks too heavy at all 🙂

It does look pretty on you! Mine just came in the mail yesterday but I haven’t tried it yet! What brush did you use to apply it? Do you find it to be shimmery? It’s a pretty design but quite a lot of money for just that… Did you see Danielle’s swatch comparisons on bloomin beauty?
Brooke says
I used my MAC 168, which is basically an angled blush brush. It’s supposed to be for contouring but I use it for all of my blushes too lol I didn’t think it was shimmery at all. It’s not a matte, but it’s not a shimmer. It just gives off a nice glow. I did see Danielle’s post! LOVE her! <3

I just have to say Nicki looks SOOOOO nice on you! If you hadn’t put it in the post I would have asked! I like the idea of a baked gel bronzer, though I might be a tad too dark (NC30 now, 35 in summer) for it to show!
Brooke says
I’m NC25 and I reallllyyyyy had to dig my brush in. The one review on Sephora complains its too light too
