NARS has released the mother of all tinted moisturizers! Not only is it concealing, but also carries moisturizing and sun protection benefits, as well as reduces hyper-pigmentation!
What Nordstrom has to say about NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer:
Hydrate. Brighten. Protect. Your skin: almost bare but better.
Infused with lush, natural botanicals, this lightweight tinted moisturizer immediately helps thirsty skin feel hydrated. The advanced, oil-free formula provides a translucent veil of color and sun protection while helping to reduce the appearance of hyper-pigmentation and dark spots in just four weeks. Kopara from French Polynesia and mineral-rich seawater revive and re-mineralize skin for a softer, smoother and brighter glow.
- Available in 9 shades.
- 1.7 oz.
- By NARS.
- Exclusively ours.
I like the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer because it provides decent coverage, but isn’t heavy. It carries an SPF of 30, but doesn’t smell like there is SPF. The smell is actually rather pleasant! The formula glides and blends easily with the fingers and lasts well throughout the day.
I chose the shade in Alaska because I’m not TOO pale, but I do pull both warm and cool tones. Since Alaska was stated to be “Light with a neutral balance of pink and yellow undertones” I thought it the perfect fit. At first I thought it would be too light, but it blended in perfectly. I’ll be using this product in my next FOTD so that you can see how it looks on the face, rather than just on an arm swatch.
Generally, my HG foundation is Chanel Perfection Lumiere, but the NARS is VERY similar, you get more product, AND it’s cheaper. Sold.
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer retails for $42.00 and is available in 9 shades. You can find this product at Nordstrom, Sephora.

Thanks for sharing Brooke! I’d love to try this! I’ve been very slack about sun protection since I moved to Europe 3 years ago, but I think it’s a good time to start again so that I won’t have to regret later!
