As a little mini-collection for Spring 2012, Dior released 4 new 5-Couleurs and a new mascara. I’ve already reviewed the stunning Smoky Kaki, and am pleased to share with you another palette from this collection. Dior #734 Grege is just as gorgeous as Smoky Kaki, but in a different way. It’s a lot less smoky, and a lot more wearable for those who like a more natural, but not understated eye.

Grege is a luminous mix of browns, golds, taupes, and greys. Some shimmery, some satiny, ALL pigmented and buttery smooth. You’ll find this palette easy to apply and blend with no fall out.
The only thing I would like to change from this palette is to make the bottom right silver color a golden shade. Though that would take away from it being able to suit cool toned Dior lovers best.

For my own eye look, as usual, I wanted to incorporate all five shades. Starting off I used UDPP as a base and applied the top left golden brown shade all over the lid and through the crease. I then took a pencil brush and patted the bottom left brown shade in the crease and above. Using the same pencil brush I patted on the bottom left brown shade in the outer V of the lid and crease. Taking a blending brush I picked up more of the bottom left brown shade and blended. Taking an angled blending brush I used the middle light taupe shade and added it to the inner corner blending up above the crease. I used the top right white shade as a highlight.
Next I lined the top and bottom lids withMAC Powersurge Eye Kohl. Using an angled eye liner brush I placed the bottom right silver grey shade to the outer lower lash line. I finished the look by adding on Dior DiorShow New Look Mascara.
