Tarte GLISTEN Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Swatches and Review – Spring 2012

Tarte is well known for their extraordinary Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush.  The pigment, wear, and color range is amazing.  And, aren’t we lucky that they released 4 new shades for Spring!  Recently out at Tarte retailers are Glisten, Buff, Frisky, and Adored.  I picked up Glisten (I wanted Buff too, but when I swatched it in store I was afraid it was too light for me) because it was available last year in a set that I wasn’t able to purchase.  SO happy to get another chance!

Glisten (shimmering peachy pink) is so beautiful.  It is generous in the pigment area, but not so much that I’m worried about over applying.  The color is perfect to use lightly everyday, or layered up in the evening for a deeper color.  The shimmer is more apparent in the pan than on the face, so you won’t need to worry about looking like a disco ball.

As for staying power, of course it’s going to look best right when you apply.  But even as this blush wears and fades slightly you still have enough lasting color for your day.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blushes have quickly become a part of my daily beauty routine.  How did I ever live without them before?!
