Originally, the only lipstick I purchased from the Iris Apfel for MAC Collection was Flamingo. Five lippies were released with this collection – Morange (Loudmouth Orange), Party Parrot (Bright red-pink), Pink Pigeon (bright cleanest pink), Scarlet Ibis (Bright orange-red), and Flamingo (light milky bright coral).
I went through major remorse that I didn’t purchase Scarlet Ibis. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to have one sent to me for review. Here she is, in all her glory…..!
What the MAC Website has to say about their Lipsticks:
Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Simmers on the street! What made M·A·C famous.

Scarlet Ibis (bright orange-red) is rather silky for a matte lipstick. I was impressed that it didn’t dry out my lips and wore well without a gloss or liner needed.
This is a very pigmented and full coverage lipstick shade which is a bit intense at first, but it is very much the temptress. How could you NOT feel sexy wearing something like this?
Of course, if the orange tone puts you off, you can always pair Scarlet Ibis with Redd Lip Pencil (which was released as part of the Iris Apfel Collection, but is also part of the core line) to make the red tone pop more.
MAC Lipsticks retail for $14.50 each. Scarlet Ibis is Limited Edition to the Iris Apfel for MAC Collection. This collection is available at maccosmetics.com, and MAC Stores. Scarlet Ibis is currently sold out online, but check your local stores or call around to them for assistance in locating this shade. Click to view the official press release.
