With all of Francois NARS’ Collections, I love how each piece has a story behind the inspiration. It’s not just a NAME. Bilbao Lipstick from Spring 2012 is “…named for the
Basque region of Spain, which has been revitalized by the Frank Gehry–designed
Guggenheim Museum.”
The lipsticks having a story make them more interesting. Like you’re wearing a piece of history rather than just a color on your lips.
Bilbao (shimmering topaz, $24.00) is a rosy nude, semi-frosty lipstick. The shimmer is extremely subtle. While this lipstick isn’t super moisturizing, it doesn’t dry out your lips either (it’s listed as a Satin formula under their website). The shade is something I normally gravitate towards, because it can be worn neutrally or with a smokier look.
Bilbao is great to wear alone (as shown above) or with a coordinating gloss (try NARS Como Larger Than Life Lip Gloss!).

This looks like quite a wearable nude shade! I find nudes hard to wear but this one certainly looks do-able for me. I like that there's a subtle shimmer to it, as well. 🙂
