For Chanel’s Spring 2012 Les Harmonies de Printemps de Chanel Collection I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the three Nail Lacquers – April, May, and June. I loved the names, but are they special enough to warrant the price tag?
What Chanel.com has to say about Le Vernis Nail Colour:
Classic and trend-defining shades from the runways of Paris. State-of-the-art formula strengthens and moisturizes nails as it delivers long-wearing, high-shine, chip-resistant colour. Applies evenly without streaking.
June, a pastel apricot, is a bit more sheer than April, the above swatch took four coats to even out. The color is gorgeous and will look especially amazing on tanned or darker skin tones.
Chanel has a great brush for application, not my fave ever, but it applies polish well and gets the job done flawlessly. These nail polishes also tend to take awhile to show chips and wear. This fact, for me, is extremely important, because if I do a manicure I need it to last. With my kids being so young and being a stay at home mom, I wash my hands and clean constantly, which means I’m rough on my hands.
Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour retails for $25.00. June is limited edition for Spring 2012.

The peachy color is a little…lacking in hue, I guess. But the finish looks polished and smooth.

Hm… Not sure how this would look on my pale, pink-toned digits, but it is a nice, fairly uncommon colour.
