It’s an oldie, but a goodie! The Chanel Plein Soleil 527 Eye Shadow Quad launched all the way back in 2009. It contains four shades ranging from pinkie golden nudes to coppery bronze. This quad swatches and applies nice and smooth, consistent with the awesomeness that is Chanel Eye Shadow… however it can be rather sheer. You have to build for color on this beauty, but it makes for a nicely versatile quad.
I lemmed on this quad forever and finally scored it last year after much hunting. In case anyone else is thinking they may or may not need to hunt this one down, I thought it’d be nice to post some pics and swatches. Plus, you never know if Chanel may some day repromote Plein Soleil. It really is a fabulous quad for Summer!

I've had it since 2009, but never used it! Shame! Love your swatches – I may use it in the depths of winter with a bronzer, when I need a lift.
