When I swatched and reviewed the Smoky Khaki palette from the Dior 3 Couleurs Smoky Ready-To-Wear Smoky Eyes Palette I spoke of definitely wanting to pick up another shade. A few weeks ago when I hit up my closest Sephora to buy the Mitzah Collection, I got my chance to swatch and landed on the Smoky Brown.
From the Sephora Website:
What it is:
An eye shadow duo and eye shadow base in an innovative sliding palette.
What it does:
This three-color eye shadow harmony helps you create catwalk smoky eyes in three easy steps. The slide-out palette features an extremely blendable base that perfectly preps and colors the eyelid, while the eye shadows offer different effects: matte for a natural ready-to-wear style or shiny for a glamorous, couture style.
Smoky Brown (dark neutral brown/ sparkling taupe/ silvery beige) 781 is the perfect blend of neutrals and browns to give you the most perfect and flattering smokey eye. The shades are blendable and easy to use with very little fall out.
I spoke more in depth of the packaging in the other review, but I’m a huge fan of the sliding case and pop-up mirror.
For the eye look above I used the bottom shade (silvery beige – base) all over from lid to brow, the top left shade (dark neutral brown – soft smoky) deposited into the crease, and the top right shade (sparkling taupe – couture smoky) blended on the crease and outer V area. MAC Teddy Eye Kohl was used to line the eyes, and UDPP was used to prep the eyes. The mascara is Dior Diorshow Mascara in Mitzah.
The Dior 3 Couleurs Smoky Eye Shadow Palette retails for $48 and is available at Sephora, as well as Dior counters nationwide.
It really is hard to find skillful persons within this issue, nevertheless, you be understood as you understand what you are writing about! Thanks
I NEED this one. It's perfect.
Hi Katherine! I did not pick up the blue one (though it's beautiful!) because it's shades are very similar to the Dior Blue Tie Palette that I have here =)
do you have the blue one? I like the blue one better
Pretty colors. The price point is high, but for Dior, it might be worth it.
