October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Doing their part to raise awareness OPI has released Pink Shatter, the newest Shatter to the line. For complete information regarding OPI’s involvement with BCA, please check out the official press release.
I really love the color of Pink Shatter. It’s a hot, fancy pink and completely girly. For shatter to work correctly, make sure your base polish is completely dry before applying. Wait a few minutes, add a top coat… and voila!
The swatch photo is one thin coat of Pink Shatter over one coat of Deborah Lippmann Naked. Normally I like my shatter quite a bit thicker, but I thought this would show it off a little better in terms of how it will look when using a light hand.
I did try this color over some darker shades and it looks best with a nude or white base. It’s fun to experiment, though 😉
OPI Pink Shatter retails for $8.50 and is currently available at Ulta as well as other salons and retailers of OPI.
