MAC Pigments are pretty awesome. I tend to like them pressed into an eye shadow pan (which I wish MAC would offer!), so I rarely buy them full sized off of the website because I like to buy them already pressed.
MAC Emerald Dusk Pigment from the recently released September 2011 MAC Fall Colour Collection was not one to be missed.
The Fall Colour Collection was split into three parts and was modeled by Cindy Sherman. Emerald Dusk is a part of the Midnight Blue category.
Emerald Dusk (deep yellow blue with white pearl) is a beautiful silvered emerald. The name is extremely fitting, though the description is a little more involved than it needed to be. This shade is beautifully pigmented whether it’s worn wet or dry, deep or sheered out.
You will experience quite a bit of fall out with pigments. I suggest doing your eye makeup first when working with this so you can clean up easily. Using a firm brush (I like the MAC 239 for this) will also help minimize fall out.
Emerald Dusk Pigment retails for $20.00 and is one of four shades released with the MAC Fall Colour Collection. It is currently still available on MACCosmetics.com, you can also call your local MAC store or counter to check on availability. This item is Limited Edition.
