The earthy brick shade is such a go-to staple color for Fall. China Glaze Brownstone is described as a “Burnt terracotta crème that mirrors the quaint townhouses of the city”. I’m obsessed with anything city-fied… And I always said if I hit the lotto the first thing I’d buy would be a brownstone in New York. This is likely the closest I’ll come to that *fingers crossed I’m wrong*!
Brownstone is a beautiful brick brown/red (in laymen terms!) that I think WOULD have been opaque in one coat if I didn’t have to be dainty… I had a dog nudging my feet and a little girl nudging my arm because she wanted her nails painted too lol Regardless, for the swatch photo, this polish went opaque for me in 2 coats. I also used Sally Hansen Continuous Treatment for a base and top coat. The application was REALLY good and went on easily and very controlled.
China Glaze nail lacquers are available through salons and professional beauty supply stores nationwide. The retail varies based on where you buy and the current sale at that store. I’ve seen them between $3.99-$6.99 and sometimes you can get a buy 2 get 1 free deal, or something fun like that. Personally, when I pick them up it’s either at Ulta or Sally Beauty Supply.
I love it!
I love this shade!!:D
Almost got this shade – then decided in my more than 25 yrs of 'this' polish collection I have currently that I had shades like this already.
