Look 3 – Blue – Featuring Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection

Out of the three looks I’ve done with this palette so far, this Blue look has been my fave. The pink was fun and different for me, the brown neutral smokey eye was something I would wear all of the time… but the BLUE… the BLUE I wouldn’t wear all the time, but it’s beautiful and makes me stare.

This Blue look from the Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection marks the third look I’ve done so far from this palette.

What do you think next? A black smokey? Purple? Extremely neutral? Thoughts?

For this EOTD I used Urban Decay Primer Potion and (from the 15th Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection) applied Evidence to the crease. Next, I patted Deep End all over the lid. I then took Midnight 15 and applied it to the inner corners and above the crease up to the brow. Taking an eye blending brush I got a bit of Evidence and blended into Midnight 15 and Deep End. For an eyeliner I used Urban Decay Covet on the bottom and Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Eyeliner in Siren on the top. I don’t own an Urban Decay mascara, so I used Le Metier de Beaute Anamorphic Lash Mascara in Midnight Blue.

I loved this blue look, it just made my eyes look huge and white. Even DH thought it was hot, but alas, we were going to a local bar the night I did this, and it was just WAY too extreme for a local bar. I ended up switching to something very neutral.

I used to be SO SCARED to wear blue eyeshadow. I eased myself into it by wearing neutral shadows, but with a pop of blue liner. It took awhile, but I believe I’m now fully integrated! LOL

What shades are you timid to rock? Did you used to be scared of certain shades and now you wear them whenever you can? How did you get yourself comfortable with it?
