MAC Tundra Shadestick is part of the late August 2011 release MAC Me Over, in the Icelandic Cool section. MAC Me Over is a 51 piece collection that will be launching later on this month in North America, and in September internationally.
Tundra is described on the official press release as an Icy Silver. That is the most perfect description of a product as I’ve ever seen. I don’t think this shade could be worn alone without a shadow over top. It’s extremely frosty. I found it hard to blend shadows over this and wasn’t a fan of how it was working on me.
On the plus side, Tundra didn’t drag too much when I used it and it was easy to place on the eye straight from the tube. Also, I didn’t put any sort of primer underneath as a base and the Shadestick did not crease at all throughout the day. I do have a FOTD using this product which will be posted later today.
Since my last posts I’ve been able to tone down my list a bit because I’ve seen more swatches, and I’m happy to report my wishlist is down to one lippie, one lipglass, one quad, the 226, one fluidline, one blush, and 2 eye shadows… oh and I now need bulk wipes and the 275 brush… BUT it’s still less than before lol until I go see everything in person and need it all again. Doh. That money tree thing can happen any time now…
MAC Shadesticks retail for $17.50 and will release on August 25, 2011 with the MAC Me Over Collection as a limited edition product.
