MAC Plum Fun Lipglass is part of the late August 2011 release MAC Me Over, in the Basics section. MAC Me Over is a 51 piece collection that will be launching later on this month in North America, and in September internationally.
Plum Fun is described on the official press release as neutral plum purple with pearl. The shade of Plum Fun is pretty intimidating in the tube. I’m a fan of purple the color… but not so much purple the lip product. This one gets my love because it’s sheer and is no where near as dense as it looks in the tube. On the lips, Plum Fun is a juicy berry, glossy tint. Whereas in the tube, it’s looking as grape as a Plum!
This shade is extremely wearable, probably best for cool toned individuals. I found the texture of Plum Fun to be a lot less sticky than what I remember MAC Lipglasses as being. I have a few older ones here and this new lipglass has a much nicer feel on the lips.
I’m really excited for this whole collection. It’s a biggie (51 pieces!), but it’s all so nice and wearable. I’m a sucker for Fall launches 😉 There is A LOT on my list – Peachstock lippie, Illicit lipglass, both quads, 3 fluidlines, Fatigues np, Stunner blush, a backup of the always awesome 226 brush, and 2 eyeshadows. That money tree can start growing anytime now!
MAC Plum Fun Lipglass retails for $14.50 and will release on August 25, 2011 with the MAC Me Over Collection.
