The Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow in Prelude was released with the Fall 2011 Chanel collection. It’s a permanent quad, and I was able to convince myself that it looked like Stupendous and Kaska Beige had a baby. I was easily able to pass. Until I saw this YouTube video by RAEview. The video was the death of my resolve that I did not immediately need Prelude.
The Chanel Prelude Quad has quickly hit my top 3 Chanel quads. Of course, number one remains Topkapi, second is Murano, and Prelude is hands down third.
Prelude is the perfect quad to create that work safe smoke of an eye, but then keep in your makeup bag for later on when you hit up happy hour or if you’re going out to dinner. The shades are smooth and easily blended for a classy look.
Since Prelude is perm, you don’t need to dash out the door for it, but it IS a good quad to pick up if you’ve been wanting a Chanel quad that you’ll use quite a bit. IMO the shades of this quad will work for everybody.
Chanel Prelude Quadra Eye Shadow Palette retails for $57 and can be found at high end department stores as well as Chanel.com.

That is beautiful. I've been holding out strong on thes quad as well even thought I usually get every quad released. I just know the colours will make me look dead though and since it's perm I'm trying to be good!

It's beautiful on you. I swatted it the other day and started to drool and thought it looked like stupendous so I walked to the other side of the counter, lol. It looked like a fantastic quad. I'll have to look again. I wish Chanel had a Chanel Diva program!
