On Saturday I had to wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed for a bridal shower. The bride insisted on breakfast (which is AWESOME because of my major love for breakfast foods) at actual breakfast times =\ It started at 10am, but me getting hair and makeup done and out the door looking like I didn’t just collide with a train is hard with the two kids.
I went directly for a palette I knew would be easy to use and neutral, and just happened to be at the top of my pile. The Urban Decay Feminine Palette.
For This Look I Used:
~ MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer NW25
~ Dior Hydra Life Pro-Youth Skin Tint SPF 20 – 1 Cream
~ Lancome Dual Finish Powder Matte Bisque II
~ Dior DiorShow Brow Styler
~ MAC Brow Set – Clear
~ MAC False Lashes Mascara – Black
~ Urban Decay Primer Potion
~ Urban Decay Feminine Palette (I used SWF all over the lid up to the brows, Midnight Cowboy patted on the lid, and Stray Dog in the crease and outer V area)
~ Urban Decay Stray Dog 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
~ MAC Feeling Flush Mineralize Blush
~ MAC Gem of Roses Lipstick

Later on in the evening we had a wedding to attend. I actually had planned on using the Dior Fall 2011 Blue Tie palette for this, but didn’t have time to redo my face… so what I did was go back to the Urban Decay Feminine Palette and added in the Darkhorse eyeshadow to the crease and outer V and then lined over the Urban Decay Stray Dog 24/7 Eye Pencil with Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Zero. Since my blush had pretty much faded off at that point I took Chanel Rouge JC and patted that on twice and blended. (LOVE that blush. Get it.) I am also wearing Le Metier de Beaute Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss in Karla Sugar.
Here is a pic of me at the wedding so you can see the makeup. It was the best one I got that wouldn’t embarrass others lol
Bet you weren’t expecting a pic like that 😉 Hey, it’s after 10pm here and we were at the pool all day. It’s the heatstroke 😉 haha
Sorry for the MAJOR shine, they had NO air conditioning on in that place. I don’t know if it was broken or what but… wow.

This is so pretty, and I love how you did the shimmer and showed it step by step. Summer weddings definitely get HOT, don't worry about the shine, you look great. Nice post
