A true lover of Le Metier de Beaute’s Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss (see Karla Sugar and Ibiza), I thought I’d give their Lip Cremes a whirl. I was not disappointed 😉
For my first LMdB Lip Creme purchase I went for a shade I knew I’d love (coral) so I could focus more on the actual product review. Enter Papaye Creme Lip Creme.
From the Nordstrom website:
A hybrid of gloss and lipstick, Lip Crème combines chic color, intense emollients and antioxidants to soothe and nourish. Long-lasting intense color with added shine and gloss. Lacquer-sheen finish. Creamy texture and easy-glide formula. Vitamins and antioxidants for smooth, supple lips.
Papaye Cream is a beautiful coral shade with subtle gold shimmer. It is a tad frosty, but not garishly so. Like the Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss it is completely non-sticky and actually lasted longer than I anticipated a gloss would. The Lip Creme is nice and thick, yet not so heavy that you’d notice it weighing down your lips. It also has a nice tropical, coconut scent that makes me feel like I’m at the beach. At least I can close my eyes and PRETEND to be on a vacation lol
Le Metier de Beaute Lip Cremes are available at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman for a retail price of $36.

I've been wanting this shade for ever and keep shying away for fear it will be too frosty. It looks lovely on you though! Not too frosty at all!
