Of my huge list of summer lemmings one remained consistently at the top. The Dior DiorSkin Nude Glow Healthy Glow Summer Powder in Sunset. Aurora, (light tan for blondes and fair to medium complexions), was actually my first choice, but when I swatched them in person Sunset, (dark tan for brunettes and medium to dark complexions), seemed to suit my coloring better.
From the Sephora website:
What it is:
A lightweight powder compact.
What it does:
This multitone powder reproduces the natural summer glow of healthy and radiant sun-kissed skin.
Size: 0.35 oz
This powder gives off a nice sheen and color, but, to be honest, I expected more. Perhaps I expected too much after loving the Chanel so much. I loveeeee the design of the powder. I think it’s AMAZING to look at, and I love that when you swirl the colors together it doesn’t start to look all cruddy. I hate the outer packaging. The silver LOOKS nice, but ugh… does it get the fingerprints. The brush isn’t good either. Final thought… if you’re going to spend the $$$ drop $4 more and get the Chanel.
This one popped pretty orangy on me, so perhaps I would have had better luck with Aurora.
DiorSkin Nude Glow Healthy Glow Summer Powder retails for $46 and can be found at Sephora and fine department stores.
