REDBOOK Red Box for Fall // Beauty Edition

Sponsored Post

There are a lot of amazing beauty boxes out there. Some are not so amazing. We roll the dice when we subscribe. What I love about REDBOOK creating the Beauty Edition Red Box for Fall is that they do their research and know what the consumer likes. Take the likes, partner with the brands… voila… a beauty box full of essentials that perform.

I feel like when they decided what the contents of this box would be they consulted hidden cameras that they must have hidden in my bedroom at some point. These are seriously all things I already use and love. HG’s, if you will. (HG = Holy Grail product… because I know my mom is reading this and has no idea what I’m talking about).

Let’s check out what’s inside the REDBOOK Red Box Beauty Edition!

From Secret, Clinical Strength Deodorant. I’ve been using Secret Deodorant for years, this particular one for about about a year itself. It’s fabulous for keeping sweat in check when you’re submersed in heat, activity and stress. It’s available in Invisible Solid (goes on dry/stays dry) and a Clear Gel (goes on clear).

From Sally Hansen, Complete Salon Manicure. Who doesn’t love them some Sally Hansen? The Complete Salon Manicure features 7 benefits in 1 bottle – base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color, top coat, chip-resistant and gel shine. Basically it’s a time saver because you just have to apply from ONE bottle and you’ve done all your mani things. The two shades shown are Poofi Be-Gonia and In Full Blue-m. For extra shine the 3D Gel Shine Top Coat is the perfect addition because it transforms regular polishes into a gel-like shine without using a UV light.

From Paula’s Choice, Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. If you pay attention you’ve seen me review and love this product before! Recently I reviewed a rather large line of skincare from Paula’s Choice which was mostly their Skin Balancing line but also included this exfoliant. It’s perfect for all skin types and is clinically proven to hydrate, brighten and reduce fine lines. In addition it improves skin texture, tone and unclogs pores. I love that this product exfoliates well but isn’t abrasive in the slightest. The texture is watery but after you use it you can absolutely tell it did what it said it would. No rinsing required!

From Vaseline, Serum Advanced Relief. This moisturizer has a forever home in my house. It’s intended to heal and calm severely dry skin but gently. It even works on my husbands dry, cracked man hands. The scent is amazing (a blend of rose, amber and a refined vanilla aroma) and gives me all the relaxed feels.

As a Redbook TEAM RED Blogger we sometimes get opportunities to check things out and this month I was excited to be one of 25 bloggers to receive the most recent Redbook Beauty Box for Spring 2015.

In side the Spring 2015 Red Box: Beauty Edition there are four products:

L’OREAL PARIS Advanced Hair Care Ultimate Straight which is the brands first straightening system that is said to last up to 48 hours. I’m definitely excited to try that out because you guys know how much I whine about my frizzy hair! More info on this line here.

Olay Fresh Outlast Body Wash which is available in 4 scents and made with essential oil fragrances.

Skinfix Hand Repair Cream which is clinically proven to increase skin moisture by 110%. We’ve all got dry skin here, particularly hands and particularly in the winter. This is the perfect size to take on vacation this Summer!

Hello Toothpaste in Pink Grapefruit Mint is ADA-approved, clinically proven to prevent cavities and strengthen enamel. It’s also free of artificial sweeteners, dyes and preservatives. A small size, again perfect for vacation. Let’s hope I love it since it’s what’s coming with me! 🙂

The Redbook Beauty Box is a complimentary box with a few samples from Redbook partners. You can share comments about the box with Redbook on Twitter and the required hashtag and it will enter you for a chance to win prizes. <— The particular giveaway for Spring 2015 is over but they do this several times a year.
