It doesn’t get much better than a multi-tasking beauty product! Most of us on most days have very little time to mess around with coordinating our makeup choices. When products like the Pixi 2-in-1 MultiBalm($12.00 // Target) come around my heart sings the loudest of ever in all of time because I can wear a product that works well, looks good and won’t cost an entire bank account.
The MultiBalms are meant to be worn alone or even blended together to create your own custom shade. The formula is cream-to-powder and I found it to be silky smooth to apply, easy to blend out and long-lasting. The formula is also infused with aloe vera and shea butter to nourish.
I find the best way to apply these to your cheeks is to dab on with your fingertips and blend out with a stippling brush, but in a pinch you could use your fingers. For applying to the lips the large surface of the MultiBalm makes it hard to evenly apply to every part of your lips. I use the surface to apply to the center area of my mouth and then I use my finger to blend it out evenly.
Five shades of Pixi 2-in-1 Multi Balm are available and all are shown below in Watermelon Veil, Baby Petal, Soft Strawberry, Wild Rose and Sheer Sculpt.
Which Pixi MultiBalm is your favorite? Comment on this blog post letting me know how you’d do for a chance to win ALL FIVE SHADES.

Skincare. Whether you’re 15 or 85, we all need it. In this post I’m telling you about all of the latest skincare products I’ve been playing with and if they’ll be good in the Spring, Winter or even year round! I do have a lot to talk about, so bear with me. They ALL serve a purpose!
Aveeno. I have a ton of Aveeno products that I love! I’m a blogger ambassador for the brand so I get the opportunity to try out most of their items continuously. A few of my favorites are pictured below: Daily Moisturizing Lotion, Moisturizing Body Wash, Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer and (of course) Positively Radiant Makeup Removing Wipes. Aveeno products are fabulous if your skin is sensitive. It’s one of the few brands that use a light fragrance in some of the products and I can actually use without getting itchy. I use these products year round. Pick it up at your local drugstore!
Murad. This is another brand I’m obsessed with. If I didn’t have their Clarifying Cleanser and Clarifying Wipes in bulk I’d be having an anxiety attack right now. In this post I want to let you in on a few other products from the brand that I’m currently loving (but mostly you’ve seen them around on the blog before):
The Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture($72.00 // ULTA Beauty) has been wonderful for nighttime moisturizing. It’s not heavy but it gets the job done… I know this because when I wake up my skin doesn’t feel tight. It’s pricey but you get a lot of product (a little goes a very long way) and in terms of skincare I’ll pay for what works well, particularly if it works just as well (if not better) as a product that costs twice as much.
The Hydrating Toner($28.00 // ULTA Beauty) is something I like to spritz lightly on my face. Because it’s hydrating I give a little extra to my cheeks, which tend to be more dry in the Winter. I switch out this toner for the Clarifying Toner in the Spring/Summer when I don’t need as much hydration.
If you’re oily the Oil-Control Mattifier($39.50 // ULTA Beauty) is something to get on your list ASAP. It’s not a primer, but a product you use before your primer to keep the oiliest parts of your face (like the t-zone) shine-free for a bit longer.
The Advanced Active Radiance Serum($90.00 // ULTA Beauty). I tend to reach for this one more in the Spring and Summer but every once in awhile I do use it in the colder months. This serum contains vitamin C and is fabulous for brightening a dull complexion and it’s lightweight.
The Rapid Collagen Infusion for Lips($24.00 // ULTA Beauty) is going to give your lips a more youthful appearance and stave off any sort of wrinkling. I am a freak for never having lip wrinkles so I use this constantly. It’s also a fabulous way to prep your lips for a matte lipstick. It smooths them out so the lipstick won’t feel or look as drying.
The latest product I’m trying from Murad is the Eye Lift Firming Treatment($68.00 // Murad). This treatment comes in the bottle but also includes eye pads to apply the product to your under-eye area. Apply a few pumps to the pad and press under the eye. After 10-15 minutes remove and you’ll see instant improvement. If you continually use this 2-3 a week you’ll see even more improvement even after the first week. For the price the results are impressive!
I use these year round unless noted! You can pick up Murad Skincare at ULTA Beauty.
PIXI Beauty has a treat for your skin – Skintreats! Glowtion Day Dew($22.00 // Target) is a great brightening lotion for day, Glow Mud Mask ($22.00 // Target) helps to absorb oil and fight breakouts and Glow Mud Cleanser ($18.00 // Target) is gentle but contains 5% glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and avocado oil for a smoother complexion. The Hydrating Milky Mist($15.00 // Target) isn’t part of the Skintreats line but is still a fabulous addition for those of us that love to have hyaluronic acid in all aspects of our skincare. Use this to prep the skin before moisturizing and applying makeup. Pick up Pixi Skincare at Target!
Elizabeth Arden. The SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster($65.00 // Nordstrom) is non-greasy and perfect for day-time if you need to give your skin a boost while the FLAWLESS FUTURE Powered by Ceramide™ Caplet Serum($60.00 // Nordstrom) works great for evening skin tone and reducing the early signs of wrinkles. This are great for any season!
Yes to Coconut. Yes this is from the same company as Yes to Carrots and Yes to Cucumbers… all the Yes to! Each Yes to line focuses on a specific target issue. Let’s face it, though. Coconut fixes all the things. The items I tried out (below) are the Ultra Hydrating Overnight Eye Balm($15.99 // ULTA Beauty), the Ultra Hydrating Melting Cleanser($9.99 // ULTA Beauty) and the Ultra Hydrating Facial Mask($15.99 // ULTA Beauty). They ALL smell amazing feel incredible on the skin. Of the three, the Eye Balm is my favorite because when dryness happens wrinkles happen. Also my eyes tend to water and get dry at the outer corner and this balm has prevented it from happening this Winter. For me, these items are great for use in the Winter, but if you’re pretty dry year round, you’ll want them year round! I’m looking to pick up the cleaning wipes, hand cream and eczema relief spray to see how that works for my daughter and I. You can find Yes to products at Target and ULTA Beauty.
A Girl’s Gotta Spa!. Fellow Beauty Blogger Shannon from A Girl’s Gotta Spa! has several skincare items for your body! All of the items smell amazing and make your skin feel great – PLUS I’m happy to report the lotion (shown) that I’ve been using doesn’t make me itch. Perfect all year round! Items are priced from $22.00-$32.00 when purchased separately (or you can buy a set for $76.00 and save a few bucks) and if you sign up for her newsletter you can save 15%! Shop here.
LATHER. This is a fabulous, cruelty free brand that offers everything you need for body, hair, face, aromatherapy and more. I particularly love to use the soaps in any season, but I do like to change up the fragrances. Shop LATHER here.
The Body Shop. I remember even back in high school I loved going in to The Body Shop. Recently I’ve fallen in love with their Hemp Hand Protector($20.00 // The Body Shop). It’s ultra-moisturizing and has been fabulous this Winter for keeping my hands from getting too dry. Right now they’re offering Hemp Hand Protector in limited edition packaging where $2.20 of each sale of the cream will go directly into The Body Shop Foundation, which is “helping to increase awareness around the negative changes happening to our planet and to create positive change”.
Pacifica. I really haven’t met a makeup wipe I haven’t liked and I’d been dying to try out the Pacifica Coco Pure Makeup Removing Wipes($6.99 // Target). Like with most other makeup removing wipes I own I use these year round as the first step in makeup removal before washing my face at night or when I need to remove arm swatches.
Neutrogena. If you’ve read my blog for awhile you know that one of my favorite hand creams all year long for several years now has been the Neutraogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream ($3.97 // Target). Super affordable, super kick butt and keeping my hands feeling nice. It doesn’t absorb quickly but I like to use it at night with gloves while I watch TV. While there is an un-noticable (to me) scent there is also an unscented version available.
AcnEase. This is a brand/product I’ve reviewed years ago and am now currently doing a four-post series on. The series is sponsored, but this mention is not. They have no idea I’m even putting them in this round-up. This is an herbal supplement to combat the evils of acne from the inside. It worked fabulously for me before and it’s working well for me again one month into the new regime. My first post is here and my second post will be coming soon! I’m not a doctor, so consult yours before trying anything new. Buy AcnEase here.
IT Cosmetics. Finally, skincare products from one of my favorite brands! Confidence in a Cream($48.00 // ULTA Beauty) is effective, lightweight and moisturizing. It’s fabulous in the winter and I still think it’ll work well for me in the Summer because it doesn’t sit on the skin. My full review can be found here.
Derma E. The Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask ($19.50 // ULTA Beauty) is an excellent choice if you’re hopping on that charcoal trend. It’s a mask that helps draw out impurities and gently exfoliate. I’ve read that if you have dry skin this might be irritating for you (it is meant for normal-to-oily skin types), so make sure you start out slowly (once a week).

You just spend time on applying your makeup. Hours, even (doesn’t it seem that way sometimes?!). It’s not crazy to want that work of art to stay in place all day… or at least for as long as possible. For those of us with oily skin the struggle is real. A loose powder is going to keep you more matte. A pressed setting powder is okay, particularly if you need to keep it in your purse, but it’s not going to work as well as loose.
Below you’ll find my list of the Top 10 Products to Set Your Face with for oily skin. These are the ones I’ve found that help the best at keeping me matte and set.
- Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder($38.00 // Nordstrom). ALL the YouTubers that have any sort of experience with oily skin have been going on about this being the powder to suck up all that oil and mattify your face as well as set it all the live long day. I fought buying it because I didn’t think it would work better than the rest… but you know what? It does. I’ve been using this non-stop since I bought it to set and bake. It’s kept my makeup from creasing all day and while it doesn’t keep me matte for the day it does help me stay matte longer.
- IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro-Powder($24.00 // ULTA Beauty). This is the only one I’ve found to be on the same level as the Laura Mercier, and it’ll be the one I repurchase because it’s $14.00 cheaper. Major bonus it feels amazing when you apply it to your face.
- Maybelline FaceStudio Master Fix Setting + Perfecting Loose Powder($9.99 // ULTA Beauty). A good, budget friendly loose powder option. It works just as well as it’s high-end counterparts at setting makeup and keeping oil at bay.
- NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder($37.00 // Sephora). This was the first setting powder I found to actually work well for my oily skin. Before I picked up the Laura Mercier I used to alternate with this and the Make Up For Ever (below).
- Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder($35.00 // Sephora). This is one that I alternated with the NARS before I picked up the LM. It really does a fabulous job at setting, hiding, perfecting… all the things!
- Tarte Smooth Operator™ Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder($33.00 // Sephora). I got a sample of this in one of their kits and use it when I travel! It does a great job at mattifying and setting no matter what the weather.
- PIXI Quick Fix Powder($20.00 // Target). I love this one because it’s perfect to keep in your makeup bag! It’s got a little sponge on the top to keep you matte and oil free all day.
- ELF Translucent High Definition Powder($6.00 // Target). On a super budget? There’s a matte setting powder for that. At $6.00 there’s no excuse for not setting your makeup or keeping your oil down!
- Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray($30.00 // Sephora). This is a spray I’ve used on myself as well as on brides or others that I’ve done makeup for. It seems to work the best for all skin types across the board at holding makeup in place. After you spray be sure not to scrunch up your face or move it around at all until it dries… you don’t want lines to form! There is also one called the De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray that I’m itching to try!
- NYX Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray($7.99 // ULTA Beauty). The most budget-friendly of all of the makeup setting sprays that actually work! This works as well as the Urban Decay and sometimes at ULTA you can snag them at buy one get one half off!
If you’re oily I recommend always using a loose powder. There are mini sizes available for travel if you’re in a pinch so make sure you check the “impulse” areas of your local Sephora and ULTA Beauty.

Beauty lovers are the easiest to shop for. It’s almost as though the options are limitless! This week, for Makeup Wars, we’re giving some recommendations on stocking stuffers. Below you’ll find Stocking Stuffer Ideas for a Beauty Lover – and there’s sure to be something that you know they’ll love 😉
COVERGIRL Outlast Longwear Lipstick* (find it at ULTA Beauty). The shade shown below is called Sofia in Love and was made for Sofia Vergara to wear on her wedding day to Joe Manganiello! That basically means it’s the perfect red – there are many other reds to choose from so be sure to check out Red Siren, Red Revenge or Red Rogue!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick (find it at Macy’s). You’ve heard the hype and it’s real. It’s the lip color that won’t quit so it’s the perfect gift! I’m wearing Heathers in this photo and I was SO impressed with how well it lasted through a Christmas party full of eats and drinks.
NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick (find it at ULTA Beauty). If you’re looking to save money these are the next best thing to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks. The color selection is decent and you have a lot more neutral options than with ABH. I’d recommend buying them online, though… my stores are always sold out of the best colors!!
LUSH Santa Baby (find it at LUSH). My fave lip tint is now in a tube! Seasonally appropriate and it smells, tastes and looks amazing. Buy buy buy!
Hooked on Hair:
Redken* (find it at ULTA Beauty). Three products I’ve been using and loving from Redken are the Pillow Proof Blow Dry Two Day Extender, Express Primer and Diamond Oil. It’s been a whole other level of hair care for me. The oil is the only one I’ve tried that doesn’t seem to travel up my strands and into the crown of my head making it even more oily. It stays where you put it and to me that’s a miracle. If the giftee enjoys hair care, they need this trio.
For the Brow Obsessed:
Salon Perfect* (find it at Walmart). Have they whined about how they want to try awesome brow gels and powders but they’re so expensive? Hook them up with the Salon Perfect ones at Walmart. Same thing, a third of the cost!
Salon Perfect Lashes* (find it at Walmart). If lashes are worn then you can never ever own enough. I know for my cousin if I handed her a stocking full of false lashes she’d love me forever. The Salon Perfect lashes are available at Walmart and look really good on.
Nudestix* (find it at Sephora). The Nudestix line is full of perfect multi-taskers. Travel-friendly and easy to use you’ll find items that work well on lips, eyes, cheeks and brows! So, if you’re not sure what they’d like this line will cover every single base with minimal product purchasing.
Gaga for Gadgets:
Real Techniques* (find it at ULTA Beauty). If they’re into brushes you need to get them some of the Bold Metals line from Real Techniques. They’re so pretty and the metal handles make them seasonally perfect.
Salon Perfect* (find it at Walmart). Affordable beauty gadgets abound! Who else not only has lashes and brow products but also a handy tool for helping you apply those lashes?! Get on it.
Because They Love Skin Care:
AVEENO* (find it at Target). There is some skin sensitivity up in this house and we are good with Aveeno. If the person you’re stuffing a stocking for is picky about what they can put on their body this line is an excellent choice. There are wonderful items available for the body and also the face.
Murad* (find it at ULTA Beauty). I put a lot of Murad on my face and have recently become very obsessed with the benefits of Vitamin C. They have a lot of products to suit any skin issues (or non-issues) but if your recipient hasn’t checked out the “C” line you must introduce them!
Lather* (find it at lather.com). If you follow me on Instagram you’ve seen this one already – but it smells so good it’s landing here too so no one misses out! Lather has 4 options of stocking stuffers that smell amazing. It’s a candle/soap duo that you can get in Lavender, Lemongrass, Vanilla and Cranberry Orange.
OPI* (find it at ULTA Beauty). OPI has released some gorgeous nail polish sets lately full of fun ways to jazz up core colors. You can also currently find their new Starlight collection in stores now!
Sally Hansen Nail Art Pens (find it at Target). I’m not the greatest at nail art but I love to use these pens when I want to doodle a bit on my nails. If your person loves nail art these will be an excellent way for them to customize their looks.
Sinful Colors Nail Polish* (find it at Walgreens). For budget friendly nail polish options Sinful Polish gives you a ton of colors, both neutral and loud. Because they’re so reasonably priced it’s an easy add on to a gift or even easier to fill up an entire stocking with!
Pretty Perfect Nail Polish* (find it at prettyperfect.com). I talked about this brand last year – you can pick a polish and put ANY name you want on it. Everyone likes to see their name on things 😉 Ask someone to marry you with one… there are endless options!
If You’re On a Budget:
ELF* (find it at Target). I originally posted these items on my Instagram but they’re perfect for this post as well because they’re the best at being budget friendly! Basically anything you choose will work so pick what works best for the recipient. There are also some amazing holiday kits out!
Hard Candy* (find it at Walmart). If your recipient loves to bring the fun and flash then Hard Candy is the budget friendly beauty pick for them! Beautiful picks are available for holiday including palettes, kits, lip gloss and even a Disco Lip Gloss ball!
PIXI Beauty* (find it at Target). PIXI has a fabulous collection of core items as well as holiday picks. You’ll find everything you need in this section from holiday sets to lip balms to liners to shadows… anything you can think of!
Pick from the list and mix it up or stock them up on their must-haves (if they love lashes they can never have enough)!

This Fall has brought about some new products into PIXI Beauty-land that cover the basics for a simple yet dynamic look – bold matte lips and a dramatic cat eye! Of course, with a face like that you can’t forget about brows 😉
Cat Eye Ink ($14.00 // PIXI Beauty). I love the slanted tip on this liner! It makes it incredibly easy to get the eye look you want, whether it’s a cat eye or just a basic line. My major beef lies with how wet it is. No matter what (primer, shadow, powder…) it never set or dried down, particularly in the outer corner. It was extremely bizarre. The remaining lid color faded quite a bit throughout the day as well. Hopefully a reformulation is in the works because the applicator is on point.
Endless Brow Gel Pen ($11.00 // Target). This is a soft, lovely brow pencil. Very easy to use, but pretty waxy. I think this would work better on someone with moderate to full brows that need more of a tinted setting wax that is in pencil form. My brows are sparse so I like to draw on a fuller brow – therefore this formula isn’t good for me to use (personally).
Mattelustre Lipstick ($12.00 // Target). These lipsticks are the major winners out of this group of products. Of the 11 shades available two were sent to me for review in Pure Fuchsia (vivid fuchsia pink) and Plum Berry (cerise berrry tint). First of all don’t let words like “tint” or “lustre” fool you. The pigment is real on these. Since these aren’t an actual true matte the word lustre refers to the sheen you get when you wear it. It’s a beautiful, juicy look. These lipsticks also include peptides, hyaluronic acid, and vitamins C & E help to create fuller, smoother looking lips. Pick up a few, I’ll def be grabbing more!
I’m loving the major matte lip trend, especially in that vampy berry color… what’s your favorite shade to wear?

It’s mid-way through Summer and, dare I say, almost time for back-to-school so I think it’s the perfect opportunity to share some Pixi Summer Beauty favorites!
Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist ($15.00 // Target). This mist feels amazing on the skin, particularly if you keep it cool in the fridge and mist on your face after coming inside from the heat. I also love to use it to set my makeup before walking out the door. It helps to make everything last longer, particularly in these muggy days. There is a slight rose scent but it’s not over-powering and fades out quickly.
Pixi Quick Fix Powder ($20.00 // Target). The shade shown is Translucid. This product is finely milled and provides a soft-blue finish to the face to set makeup and look flawless. It applies easily with the attached sponge making it easy to travel with and purse friendly. A mirror is included on the cap.
Pixi Quick Fix Bronzer ($20.00 // Target). The shade shown is Velvet Bronze. This is a light, matte formula that blends well and applies easily with the sponge. Easy to travel with and purse friendly. A mirror is included on the cap.
Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm ($14.00 // Target). The shade shown is Unique Pink, which is on the sheer side and just amps up your lip color. It’s one of my faves for any season because it’s moisturizing and easy to re-apply on-the-go.
Pixi Eye Bright Liner ($14.19 // Target). The shade shown is No. 1 Nude. For those late Summer nights wake up in the A.M. and line the lower waterline with this to look instantly awake and with it.
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen ($12.00 // Target). The shades shown are in BronzeBeam and Black Noir though 12 other shades are also available. Smooth to apply and smudge but the formula lasts all day on my lids!
Pixi Nail Polish ($8.00 // Target). The shade shown below is in Coral Cantaloupe which is a vivid peachy coral with golden shimmers, 2 coats. The perfect Summer color!
What are your favorite Pixi products for Summer?

Brow and eye perfecting is what Pixi Beauty is all about in this post… and also a bit of jazz on your nails 😉 Even if you have thick brows it’s important to keep them groomed and also line the eyes with a long-wearing pencil that accents the color. Basically these products are here to help you show off several of your best features in the right ways.
Brow Powder Palette ($12.00 // Target). While powders don’t work for my brows (because I have none.. sigh) they’re fabulous for those of you that just need a bit of filling in and refining. This palette is affordable and offers several shades for filling in the brow color (which is nice if you need to mix) and also a highlight.
Endless Silky Eye Intensify Duo ($15.00 // Target). This is available in two shades – Blue Eye Intensify and Brown Eye Intensify. These are long-wearing and wonderful for amping up your natural eye color. Each shade is designed to bring out your eye color but I found that they both look great on if you work them in with the right eye look. The formula is smooth to apply and lasts all day until you remove with eye makeup remover.
Sweet Strawberry Nail Colour ($8.00 // Target). Described as the “Perfect Summer Strawberry Red” this shade painted on smoothly and evenly, only requiring one medium-thick coat for full opacity.

Today, the day before Mother’s Day, we need to talk about stepping back. On Mother’s Day I take it upon myself to have a lazy day. A lot of mom’s maybe like to pamper themselves more… maybe take the time to curl their hair… paint their nails (or even better – have it done for you). I make sure that before Mother’s Day everything is done. House is clean, food is ready (because I have to pamper my momma, too!) and everything is set so that on the morning of Mother’s Day I can sleep in a bit. Sip my coffee. Not worry about what needs done, what’s due or who needs fed. When it’s time to get dressed I throw on something comfy and apply the most minimal of makeup.
On the vanity for this year are some PIXI products that are perfect for hiding all the things, but that are light enough and easy to use so that I don’t feel like it’s a task to apply – H2O Skintint (applied with the Full Cover Foundation Brush) and the Undercover Crayon.
H2O Skintint ($24.00 // Target). This is a water-based foundation, but don’t run… this is one to embrace. When applied this foundation feels light but covers well, evening out my skin discolorations and drying to a semi-matte finish. A little goes a long way and the coverage is buildable. In the swatch the Nude shade looks a little dark, but when blended all over the skin it matches perfectly. This is available in three shades – Cream, Nude (shown) and Warm.
Full Cover Foundation Brush ($15.00 // Target). Streak marks, I have no time for you. Not on this day, not on any day. This brush is affordable and applied the H2O Skintint like it was born to do only that. Basically, like a dream. The brush is dense but easy to maneuver around the face to apply foundation with minimal effort. You can also use it for powders and concealer.
Undercover Crayon ($14.00 // Target). This crayon is a full-coverage pencil to hide the marks and darkness on my face that acne and lack of sleep have “blessed” me with. Before applying my foundation I dab this onto the area that needs covered and blend lightly with my finger. I especially like to use Perk-Up Peach to hide the redness around my nose and for blemishes. This is available in four shades – Perk-Up Peach (shown), Cream, Nude and Warm.

So I just got back from my son’s baseball game (where he kicked major butt, I might add!) and it was HOT. But that good hot where it feels awesome but you don’t sweat at all. Sadly Happily everything makes me think about makeup and while I’m sitting there the opposing teams bold orange uniforms reminded me of Summer Lipsticks! Orange-red, coral Summer lipsticks, to be exact! Between the heat and the uniforms I thought this would be a great shade to focus on for my Top 10 Summer Lipsticks post!
- Dior Addict Tie Dye Lipstick in Coral Trip ($33.00 // Nordstrom). I recently reviewed these lipsticks here and am obsessed. Glossy, hydrating and wearable day or night with buildable pigment. You can’t ask for much more! Unfortunately these are limited edition so if you love this one as much as I do get your hands on it asap!
- Too Faced Melted Metal in Debutante ($21.00 // Sephora). I recently picked a few of these up at Sephora and haven’t had the chance to post about them yet but they are perfect for Summer.. majorly metallic, but in a wearable way, which is important to me.
- OCC Metallic Lip Tar in Manhunter ($18.00 // OCC). This caught my eye when I was buying the Too Faced Melted Metals. It’s a seriously orange-red with golden shimmer. Not so much a day-time shade, IMO, but when you wear this out at night it definitely screams “I mean business and I’m here to run sh…“. I’m not seeing it on the Sephora website but you can still pick it up on the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics site.
- PIXI Beauty Shea Butter Lip Balm in Coral Crush ($8.00 // Target). A moisturizing, tinted lip balm that packs the perfect punch of color for day or night. Swatches and review are here.
- Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Lip Balm in Orange ($5.69 // Target). This little balm amps up your lips more than you’d think but it’s nice to keep in your bag for a quick dose of tinted moisture because it’s easy to reapply.
- Pur Minerals Pout Pen in Fuzzy Navel ($20.00 // ULTA Beauty). If you’re looking for a color to last you’ve got to keep a Pout Pen handy. I love that it comes with the stain and then a balm on the other side! Swatches and review are here.
- MAC Lipstick in Morange ($16.00 // Nordstrom). How could anyone do a round-up of bold Summer lippies and not include MAC Morange? It’s probably the first lipstick that pops into your head when you think Orange Lipstick – definitely a fave of many!
- Milani Color Statement Moisture Matte Lipstick in Matte Passion ($5.99 // Milani). A comfortable and bold matte lip that won’t dry you out! Swatches and review are here.
- NARS Audacious Lipstick in Lana ($32.00 // Sephora). This is arguably one of my favorite lipstick formulas so of course it’s got to be included in a round up of screamingly fabulous bright lipsticks. Lana is my pick for this round-up but it’s the dream to own the all as they are all loved equally by me… like children.
- Urban Decay Revolution High Color Lip Gloss in Punch Drunk ($22.00 // Sephora). While not a lipstick it’s definitely pigmented enough to be so it’s okay that I include it here, right?! When I saw these I needed them all, and I do have a few coming up for swatching and review 😉 For now, bask in the love for Punch Drunk!
