EOTD Featuring OVERALL BEAUTY Greens!

Since receiving the gorgeous greens from Kim at OverallBeauty.com I wanted to combine them all into the ultimate of green eye ball looks.

I did swatches recently of 100 Miles to Go, Area 51, Green Machine, and Glided Jade. You can check out swatches and review by clicking HERE. (I recommend right clicking to open up a new window).

For this eye look I used:
* Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadow in Glided Jade on the lid
* Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadow in Green Machine in the crease
* Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadow in 100 Miles to Go in the inner corner of the eye and above the crease
* Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadow in Area 51 wet as a liner
* Magic LashEyelash Enhancer and Black Magic Mascara (2 Coats). Right click HERE to open a new window and see my review and photos of this product.

What do you think of mineral eye shadows? I am usually NOT a fan, but I love the ones from Overall Beauty!

Overall Beauty 100 MILES TO GO, AREA 51, GREEN MACHINE, GLIDED JADE Mineral Eye Shadow Swatches & Review

It’s no secret I have a penchant for Green Eye Shadow. I would live, breath, eat, swim, and die green eye shadow. MMMMMM drama.

Kim from Overall Beauty knows my weakness, so she sent over 4 beautiful green mineral eye shadows along with the Magic Lash reviewed HERE.

From the Overall Beauty website:

All of our MINERALS have a higher percentage of pure mineral colorants and NO FILLERS, so a small amount on your eye lids provides the same color depth as a heavy application of traditional pressed powder eye make up. A 5G jar of Overall Beauty MINERALS will last about twice as long as the same amount of cake eyeshadow.

We do NOT use talc, carmine or bismuth oxychloride in our makeup

Ingredients:
Zinc Oxide USP, Titanium Dioxide ,Mica ,Iron Oxides , may have Ultramarine Blue,Ferric Ferrocyanide, Kaolin Clay

Today I have to show you 100 Miles To Go, Area 51, Green Machine, and Glided Jade Mineral Eye Shadows. (click pics below to enlarge)

! All shades were swatched with NO primer (and they still look AWESOME!)

GREENS. Perfect, lovely greens…

100 Miles To Go
is part of the new Road to Nowhere Collection. It is a vibrant and grassy green with a hit of glittery sass.

Area 51 is also part of Road to Nowhere. A much more sheer green than what is depicted in the pot, this is a beautiful and glittery lid color to begin the perfect green eye look. If aliens looked this pretty, consider me Area 51‘s newest resident.

Green Machine actually looks similar to Area 51 in person, but is a bit more dense. I like it a little more because it’s a bit more pigmented. This would be a nice look to do in the evening with Area 51 as a liner and a deep green in the crease.

Glided Jade (aka my favorite green of ALL TIME) is crazy amazing beautiful. If you only get one shadow from this whole post, get this one. I feel like Glided Jade is beyond words.

All of the above mentioned shades are super smooth and easily blendable. I will be doing a FOTD coming up to show how they look on the eyes as well as how they look used wet as a liner.

Tips from Overall Beauty to use your Mineral Eye Shadow as a liner:

For using it as eye liner, place a little mineral eye shadow into the lid of your jar then just wet the tip of your brush with water then dip it into your
eye shadow and mix it a little in the lid so you really have something to work with.
Line your eyes with Area 51 then to really make your eyes pop. go over it
again with dry mineral eye shadow. You can smudge it as well if your like.
If you place it right at the base of your lower lashes, its truly brings out the color of your eyes.
It stays put wet or dry..

Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadows retail for – Prices: Sample $1.50, 5 Gram $7.99, 10 Gram $11.99. You can get a sampling of all 4 of these shadows for $6. AMAZE-BALLS. Overall Beauty IMAGINE Mineral Eye Shadow Review & Swatches

On Tuesday I had the pleasure of sharing with you a gorgeous duochrome Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadow in YOUR MAJESTY.

Today I have for you IMAGINE.

Imagine is a gorgeous bronzed brown with a really cool pink and gold holo shimmer. When the light catches it you can REALLY see the shimmer particles. (the blurry photo is to show off those shimmers!)

Like with Your Majesty, I was really impressed with the staying power of this Mineral Eye Shadow. Especially since I’ve had bad luck with the Bare Escentuals brand mineral shadows in the past. (Which sort of had me jaded towards all mineral shadows).

Imagine stayed on all day with Urban Decay Primer Potion. It had NO fall out when packed on with the MAC 239 brush (though any firm eye shadow brush will do!).

These come packaged EXTREMELY well, so you don’t have to worry about spillage. The exterior of the jar is sealed and the interior has a plastic peel coating over the top so no product can escape.

Overall Beauty Minerals are animal cruelty FREE. They don’t test their products on animals and they don’t believe in doing so. Overall Beauty also sells some other awesome brands such as BB Couture Nail Polish and Reviva Labs Skincare! There is a ton of great stuff on the site, so be sure to check it ALL out. Orders over $50 ship FOR FREE to anywhere in the US.

Overall Beauty YOUR MAJESTY Mineral Eye Shadow Swatches & Review

Recently I got the opportunity to play with a few of the Mineral Eye Shadows by Overall Beauty. Kim (owner and creator!) had warned me that Your Majesty had a bit of a temperament about being photographed (what royal doesn’t?) but I think I got it down pretty well.

Your Majesty is a duochrome eye shadow. It’s as if MAC Violet and Cornflower pigment had a baby with a magical sheen. You can’t tell from the pics, but I can even catch a small hint of green glitter in there… somehow. lol It just looks SO dang cool. I didn’t even leave my house yesterday and people stopping by all commented on how neat my eye makeup was and what did I do to get the colors to act like that. Imagine if I wore it out?! (YES I did do a FOTD for this, which I’ll be posting later).

(sorry for all of the pics, I wanted to show the different shimmers and colors that this set off at different angles)

The only other mineral shadows I’ve ever tried were from Bare Escentuals and I HATED them. They faded no matter what and straight up… were crap. (sorry BE). This is not the case with OB Mineral shadows. Your Majesty stayed on ALL DAY with UDPP underneath. The pigment was pretty darn amazing and there was NO fall out when I patted it on with the MAC 239.

Your Majesty is a new color added earlier this month.

On my wish list, you ask? OB Mineral Eye Shadow in Afterburner, Dust Bunny, Metal Rose, Pretty Gold, Storm, Sunny and the Eye Fixit Stay In Place b/c I hate Urban Decay PP packaging lol it’s just that nothing else WORKS so what do you do?!

Your Majesty and other OB Mineral Eye Shadows are available at overallbeauty.com and are available in different sizes with the price range of $1.50 (sample), $7.99 for a 5g jar, and $11.99 for a 10g jar. How cool is it that you can buy a sample to make sure you love the color?

These come packaged EXTREMELY well, so you don’t have to worry about spillage. The exterior of the jar is sealed and the interior has a plastic peel coating over the top so no product can escape.
