March 2014 GlossyBox Swatches, Review & Open Box Video!

Press Sample/Affiliate Links

This month I thought I’d try something new for GlossyBox and I did an Open Box Video! You’ll get to see my somewhat embarrassing first reactions to products as I go through the March 2014 box for the first time.

This month was fantastic so I’m super excited to get April’s shipment! My favorite parts are definitely the nail polish and bracelet!

With GlossyBox you get a bit of everything, makeup, skin care, hair product… I love that this subscription box is sure to cover all of the bases, every single month.

GLOSSYBOX is a subscription service. You sign up on the website and then from there you can order your subscription based on one month, six months, or a year. You’ll answer a series of questions and based off of that, you will receive a customized box. This is all pretty standard for a beauty subscription service.

The price is a bit higher than that of other services you may have heard of or belong to. At $21 I would expect double the awesomeness of what I’d receive from, say, Birchbox.

GLOSSYBOX will always offer a MINIMUM of five products. After receiving your box, you can fill out more surveys in order to rate the products you received so they can better tailor your next package. So, basically, after a few months of the service, your packages should be PERFECT.

**TIP – Make sure you review the products received in your GLOSSYBOX to receive 20 GLOSSYDots per review. You can use these toward your own free box!**

Video: June 2013 Little Black Bag Photos & Review

I can’t even begin to tell you the last time I loved everything that came in my Little Black Bag. Trading was awesome this time around and I got some excellent trades and managed to score everything I was after.

In this Little Black Bag video we’ll be checking out six items from Deux Lux, Betsey Johnson, Kenneth Jay Lane and Geranium.

For information on Little Black Bag please refer to this post.

If you’re interested in opening your own Little Black Bag here is a referral link for you!

Disclaimer: I purchase my own LBB, but there is a referral link(s) in this post, which gives me credit once you open and bag and it ships. Every member of LBB gets the referral link option.

June 2012 MyGlam Glam Bag Review & Open Box Video… Also, some Target Beauty Bag Love

I thought it would be easier with these subscription things to film an open box video like I just did with Little Black Bag so I’m testing it out here with the June Glam Bag from MyGlam. I also received the new Target Beauty Bag on the same day, so I threw that in there at the end.

In the interest of not taking too much time from your day, it’s only around five minutes long. I want to try and keep these short and sweet. You obviously know the deal with MyGlam by now and it being a beauty subscription service. I don’t take time out to explain about that, I’m just here to show you the goods.

You can sign up for your own Glam bag at for $10 a month. The way they charge is a bit odd, so make sure you read up on all of the FAQ stuff. These tend to sell out very quickly. Rather than stalking them on Facebook, or waiting for a notification email, I suggest checking the website once a day, that’s how I ended up being able to sign up.
