July 2014 ipsy Glam Bag Review & Swatches

The theme for the July 2014 ipsy Glam Bag is Sensationally Sunkissed. I am heavily obsessed with three of the items I got in this months bag and excited to put one of the other two to good use. I guess what I’m trying to say is… it’s another awesome month for ipsy! Minus, of course, the dud I got. There’s always gotta be a bad apple, y’all!

This month the bag was a beautiful shade of blinding neon pink with rounded/scalloped edges. Personally I thought it looked cheap and somewhat (forgive me) like it was made in a sweat shop. I dug the color, but the style of the bag looked low. I gave it to my daughter and this bag is now home to her babydolls dirty diapers. Her words, not mine =\

What’s inside?

From Clear Clinic Laboratories, Vanished Clear Spot Treatment. Just the name boasts that this stuff does a lot. Right off you can smell the alcohol permeating out of this bottle. Before I even looked at the ingredients I knew there was alcohol in this. Boom, first ingredient listed is isopropyl alcohol. And next is water. It’s diluted alcohol with a bit of some other acne fighting stuff in it. Of course that’s going to dry out your acne, though not necessarily in the best way. I didn’t use this because I have things that work well for me and aren’t as harsh. Plus the smell was very strong and gave me an immediate migraine.

From Models Own, Nail Polish in Red Sea. I feel like if you just look at the swatch photo below this will go without saying… but this nail polish is GORGEOUS. So gorgeous that I had to type the first gorgeous in all caps. The base is an opaque neon red jelly and it’s got flakies! I’m in love, lust and everything in between. Two coats.

From Pur-lisse, pur~protect essential daily moisturizer spf 30. Some people might think it’s lame to get a small SPF moisturizer like this, but I keep these little ones in my purse because sometimes I forget to moisturize in the morning and if I’m out and about and I remember I can pop this on. In the summer-time it’s also good to remember to use a hand cream with SPF, because your hands get old a lot faster than you’d think. Protect ya’self.

From Pixi Beauty, Mini Tinted Brilliance Balm. The shade I got is in Unique Pink. It’s very sheer but really works to give the lips a moisturized and healthy appearance. Love the product and it’s the perfect size to keep in my pocket!

From bareMinerals, 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Broad Spectrum SPF 15. A ridiculously long name but it is worthy. The shade I got is in Barely Nude and can I just say, it’s perfect. It makes a lovely base for shadows or even to wear on it’s own. The formula is easy to apply and creamy, lasting all day without creasing. I will definitely be going out to buy a full size of this and a few of the other shades!

I was really happy with the contents of months ipsy bag (I’ve decided to not count the actual bag). Three of the five products are major wins for me and I’ll use 4 of the 5 products included in some way. Even though I thought the bag holding everything was not for me the contents were obviously still worth more than $10.00.

Ipsy does profile pages now, so here is mine. There is also a pretty amazing referral program in place. You refer friends and redeem points to get a sweet little bonus in your next bag. I’ve gotten some really fab full sized products as my bonuses, but, something new, you can use your points to choose your own bonus! I cashed in back in November for a full size NYX Cosmetics Bronze Smokey Look Kit (see photos and swatches here). This month I traded in for two Revlon Colorburst lippies I’d been eying:

Makeup Wars ~ My Holiday Beauty Wish List

The

Makeup Wars Bloggers

decided it would be a smart move to do up our Holiday wish lists. Basically, if any family or friends are reading this and want to tell Santa so I have a little surprise under the tree… you won’t hear me complain. I might even have a smooch waiting under the mistletoe for anyone thinking of me!

I thought it would be a good idea to pick some “wants” at several price points… just in case my hubby or someone else who loves me equally as much is checking this out! Keeping it tame, this is just beauty items. If I would have dove into handbag, shoes, jewelry… well, we’d have been here all day.

  1. Tarte Carried Away Collector’s Set($54.00). This set from Tarte has is ALL. It’s so beautiful and clearly necessary for all of your beauty needs and wants! Photo courtesy of Sephora.com.
  2. OCC Pro’s Picks Lip Tar Set($49.00). I own nothing from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and I’m DYING to. This set is the perfect opportunity! Photo courtesy of Sephora.com.
  3. Make Up For Ever Be Your Own Make Up Artist Station($950.00). Let’s just be honest, who DOESN’T want this? At that price point it’ll very likely never happen for me, but I can dream! Photo courtesy of Sephora.com.
  4. Burberry Complete Eye Palette($59.00). I’ll take any of them, but the one pictured, Dark Spice, is my top choice. Photo courtesy of Nordstrom.com.
  5. Laura Mercier Illuminating Eye Shadow in Rose Gold($24.00). I love the style of the shadow pan and the shade just looks stunning! Photo courtesy of NeimanMarcus.com.
  6. Estee Lauder Michael Kors Set($38.50). This one is tricky, you can only purchase it with an Estee Lauder Fragrance purchase. I cannot stand EL fragrance and I don’t know anyone to give it to if I bought it. So go buy yourself some perfume and then get me this Michael Kors set! Different sets are available at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Dillards, Macys and EsteeLauder.com. I’ll take any of them. Photo courtesy of Nordstrom.com.
  7. MAC Hang Up the Glamour Hanging Travel Bag($40.00). It’s leopard on the outside, lacy looking on the inside and securely holds all of our travel junkies with style. Hook me up. Photo courtesy of maccosmetics.com.
  8. Bare Escentuals The Star Treatment Set ($40.00). I love the pressed shadows from this brand, and the shades in this palette are right up my alley! Photo courtesy of Sephora.com.
  9. MAC Making Pretty Brush Set for Face & Eye($100.00). I obviously don’t NEED this, but its so pretty and chic… I just want it to look at it. I’d never buy it for myself, but would loveeee to have it as a gift! Photo courtesy of maccosmetics.com.
  10. Le Metier de Beaute CHEM60 Pro-Peel and GLOW10ai Mask Set ($265.00) I am so totally addicted to this. It’s easy to do, safe and it works! You can check out my experience with this product by clicking here. Photo courtesy of NeimanMarcus.com.

Oh, drugstore beauty, I haven’t forgotten about you!

  1. Cover Girl Clump Crusher LashBlast Mascara. I’ve heard great things from fellow bloggers. Photo courtesy of Ulta.com where this product is currently buy one get one half off.
  2. Wet N Wild ColorIcon Eight Pan Eyeshadow Palette Collection. I’d love the two palettes I don’t have that released with Holiday 2012 (I think the matte one, Drinking a Glass of Shine, was released before as I <3 Matte) in Sparkle ‘Til Morning & Shimmer the Night Away (see pics at Nouveau Cheap).
  3. L’Oreal Project Runway Electric Fantasie Collection. Any and all of it. We’ve been ripe with sickness here so I haven’t really been out and about to get any pieces =( See photos at Musings of a Muse.
  4. Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips. I always see these and always want to try them out. The colors just look so pretty sitting by each other. The set shown above is in Nude. Photo courtesy of PhysiciansFormula.com.

November 2012 ipsy (My Glam?) Glam Bag Review & Swatches

This Summer, after I received my June Glam Bag and did an open box video, I cancelled my MyGlam Glam Bag subscription. It was such a disappointment across the board for me. Weird products, chemical smells… just wasn’t impressed.

So, what made me resubscribe? Well, I got an email saying if I came back I’d get a Benefit They’re Real Mascara as an extra. I do love that mascara, and My Glam had morphed into ipsy (Why? I have no idea and frankly I’m too lazy to look) so maybe it’s better now. Without even looking to see what the bags had been between June and now I went ahead and forked over my $10 to re-subscribe.

Holy….. This is AMAZING. I’m floored by how great this month’s bag is for 10 bucks.

What you see above is a cute and classy deep brown makeup bag with a gold zipper. I believe it’s canvas. Very nice, no chemical smell. Useable! The two cards are just showing deals and discounts that ipsy subscribers can get when shopping with the sponsors of this months bag as well as a deal on a justfab.com subscription.

What’s inside?

Clearly, if you read the start of this post, you know it’s all good things.

Starting on the top left is a nail lacquer from Nailtini in the shade Millionaire. SO pretty, right? It’s a mix of regular glitters and bar glitters in multiple shades, and just makes me think of a New Years Eve extravaganza. It’s shown below as one coat over Chanel Malice.

Next, from Benefit, the They’re Real Mascara, which I’ve reviewed here. It’s a great mascara if you’re in the market for some va-va-voom on your eye balls.

From theBalm, one of the shades in the Meet Matt(e) Palette. The shade I got is Matt Batali (sounds Italian, so imma say it’s appropriate for me lol) and it’s a deep eggplant color. So smooth and pigmented for a matte shade. Very impressed and I just may have to purchase the full palette so he can hang with his buddies.

The fourth item is a bareMineralsMarvelous Moxie Lipgloss in the shade Dare Devil. The applicator is sponge doe-foot (YAY) and it’s only slightly sticky. The vibrant pinky-purple shade has a hint of shimmer. It may look scary, but on the lips it’s sheer and just gives a hint of color. I fear shades like this on my lips, but this one looks gorgeous!

The final item is from Starlet Cosmetics and is a Black Eye Pencil. I’ve never heard of this brand, but I found the liner to be smooth in application and though the black shade isn’t super saturated it wore nicely and is easy to smudge for a smoky, party eye.

(L-R: theBalm Matt Batali, bareMinerals Dare Devil, Starlet Eye Pencil)

It seems based off the one card that some people also got an Eyebrow Defining Gel from Chella. I’ve never heard of that brand, but I can always use brow gel! Would have probably liked that in place of the liner, but either way, I’m still VERY happy with this months bag and will be continuing my subscription into December.

By the end of this email I convinced myself that, as a blogger, I need to become educated on ipsy. I haven’t been on the site since June, but it looks MUCH more clean and organized. More like I’d expect it to be.

They do profile pages now, so here is mine. There isn’t anything there, but I think it’s fun that it’s offered. Hopefully they’ll also go by way of Birchbox and GlossyBox and have a referral program set up or a point system in place for free products. After seeing how awesome this bag was, that is really the only thing holding them back.

Here is where you can go to subscribe to ipsy for a Glam Bag. It’s not a referral.

What do you think about the November Glam Bag? Are you going to subscribe for December?

Bare Escentuals THE SHOWSTOPPER bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 Swatches, Review, and EOTD

Slowly but surely I’m working my way into getting all of these Bare Escentuals pressed eye shadows. I’ve never had much luck with their loose shadows, so I’m excited for the fact that the READY shadows are more wearable for me (the loose always faded very quickly no matter what I did, even with different primers) and are much more long lasting.

For today, I have the duo in The Showstopper.

What the Sephora website has to say about Ready Eyeshadow 2.0:

What it is:
An eye shadow duo of pure, intense color with antiaging benefits.

What it does:
BareMinerals READY™ Eyeshadow provides exceptionally vivid, long-wearing complementary colors in an ultra-smooth, silky texture for effortless application and seamless blendability. Powered by bareMinerals’ proprietary SeaNutritive Mineral™ Complex along with powerful antioxidants, cold-pressed borage oil, caffeine and cucumber, these ingredients are known to deliver antiaging benefits including depuffing and antioxidant protection for a softer, smoother, revitalized eye area. It looks like a powder, but feels like a cream and delivers a beautifully vivid color.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Synthetic Fragrances
– Synthetic Dyes
– Petrochemicals
– Phthalates
– GMOs
– Triclosan
Size: 0.1 oz

The Showstopper(periwinkle/jeweled lavender) includes two shades Bravo (left) and Encore (right). Bravo looks to be more of a silvered baby blue and Encore has flashes of that shade set in a deep eggplant color. The shades are frosty, but still wearable.

I found both shades to be easy to wear and blend, with nice pigment. For the eye look I took a fluffy brush and blended the two shades together to create the lid color. Using the same fluffy brush I applied Encore to the crease and outer V. Still using the same brush I dipped into Bravo and applied to the inner corners and up to highlight. The liner is Chanel Violet Smoke Le Crayon Yeux with Encore smudged lightly over top, and the mascara is Armani Eyes to Kill.

By the way I applied for this look I did go for a simple wash of color. You can use a firmer brush and different application technique to pull more pigment, especially from Encore.

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow 2.0 retail for $20 each and are available at Sephora and Ulta.

Bare Escentuals THE COCKTAIL HOUR bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 8.0 Swatches, Review, and EOTD

If you’ve been a reader since at least this past December, you’ll know that I was in love with the Bare Escentuals bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 8.0 in The Playlist. The Playlist leans rather warm, so I wanted to get my hands on the cooler of the two palettes, The Cocktail Hour. These palettes were released for Holiday 2011, but are still available online.

What the Sephora website has to say about has to say about bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 8.0 – TheCocktail Hour:

What it is:
A versatile palette featuring eight pure, intense, provocative shades.

What it does:
Powered by bareMinerals’ proprietary SeaNutritive Mineral™ Complex, these party-going shades deliver gorgeous looks, endless options, and seriously impressive antiaging benefits for a softer, smoother, revitalized eye area. It looks like a powder, but applies like a cream and delivers beautifully smooth, vivid, long-wearing color plus incredible skin-renewing benefits.

This set contains:
– 8 x 0.035 oz Eyeshadow in Black Tie Optional (black velvet), Icebreaker (pink pearl), Swanky (dazzling plum), Spiked (copper blush), Elixir (luxe lilac), Invite Only (taupe slate), Libation (sugared cinnamon), Shaken Not Stirred (jeweled navy)

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Synthetic Fragrances
– Synthetic Dyes
– Petrochemicals
– Phthalates
– GMOs
– Triclosan

What else you need to know:
These formulas do not contain binders, fillers, or harsh chemicals. BareMinerals Ready™ is an innovative new concept in solid mineral technology. Created through a unique cold-pressed method, this formula combines SeaNutritive Mineral Complex, composed of positively charged sea minerals with powerful antioxidants, cold-pressed borage oil, caffeine, and cucumber. The non-drying formula is clinically proven to deliver potent antiaging benefits, such as reducing puffiness, for a softer, smoother, revitalized eye area.

(Black Tie Optional, Icebreaker, Elixir, Invite Only)

(Swanky, Spiked, Libation, Shaken Not Stirred)

The Cocktail Hour offers a bold and shimmering assortment of 8 shadows that lean cool (except Spiked). Each has a nice pigment and is very easy to apply and blend. I experienced minimal fall out with this palette and all of the shades are swatched above using one finger swipe and no primer.

The packaging is really pretty, the gold reminds me of the Dolce & Gabbana packaging. I dislike that it gets messy and fingerprinted VERY easily.

The palette includes an insert with 3 ways to use the palette.

However, I used my own ideas for the two looks below. Now you have 5 ways to use this palette 😉

For both of the eye looks below I used a base of UDPP and Tarina Tarantino Fleur de Lash Mascara in Black Opal.

For this first eye look I went for understated smoky. Starting off I put Invite Only on the lid then applied Swanky to the crease. I applied Libation above the crease to blend out Swanky and used Icebreaker on the inner corners of the eye and to highlight. For a liner I used Chanel Violet Smoke Le Crayon Yeux.

For the second eye look I went glam smoky! Starting off I applied Shaken Not Stirred all over the lid. I blended Spiked into and above the crease and used Libation for the inner corners of the eye and to highlight. Chanel Marine Le Crayon Kohl was used to line the top and bottom and I put a bit of Libation on top of the lower liner.

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 8.0 retails for $40 and is available at Sephora and Ulta. The Cocktail Hour is Limited Edition.

Bare Escentuals THE VISION bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 Swatches, Review, and EOTD

The Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadows have become something of an obsession for me. I can’t help but always look and swatch when I head into a retailer.

My first 2.0 purchase was The Scenic Route. Still one of my favorite duos to reach for. One of the most recent Ready Eyeshadow 2.0 that I’ve purchased is The Vision.

From the Sephora website:

The Vision contains two shades in Illusion and Mirage. Illusion is a baby blue, chalky yet buttery shade. Mirage is a brown-blue duochrome, which reminded me quite a bit of MAC Blue Brown Pigment, though I don’t have that here to do a side by side swatch.

These shades are beautiful and quite easy to apply. I had originally meant to try Mirage on the lid and crease/highlight with Illusion, but I got distracted and went for my usual light shade on the lid and dark shade in the crease. Mirage seems to disappear when blended, but it made for a nicely demure look, none-the-less.

I used Make Up For Ever Eye liner in 24L (which is a taupe shade) and smudged Mirage over top.

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow 2.0 retail for $20 and are available at Sephora and Ulta.

Bare Escentuals THE PLAYLIST bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 8.0 Swatches, Review, and EOTD

I had such an awesome experience with my first Bare Escentuals bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow in The Scenic Route that I took the plunge and purchased the large palette with 8 coordinating shades.

What Sephora.com has to say about bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 8.0 – The Playlist:

– 8 x 0.035 oz Eyeshadow in Pumped (cocoa sparkle), Chart Topper (pewter silk), Max Volume (smoky jade), Louder (burnished copper), One Hit Wonder (butter chiffon), Most Requested (burgundy sparkle), Remix (burnished gold), Speaker Box (shimmering gunmetal)

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Synthetic Fragrances
– Synthetic Dyes
– Petrochemicals
– Phthalates
– GMOs
– Triclosan

What else you need to know:
These formulas do not contain binders, fillers, or harsh chemicals. BareMinerals Ready™ is an innovative new concept in solid mineral technology. Pumped, Chart Topper, Max Volume, Louder

One Hit Wonder, Most Requested, Remix, Speaker Box

The Playlist offers a nice and neutral (with a pop of bold) set of 8 shadows that lean warm. Each has a nice pigment and is very easy to apply and blend. I experienced little fall out when using this palette, the most being with Speaker Box, though it was still minimal. All of the shades are swatched above using one finger swipe and no primer.

The packaging is really pretty, the gold reminds me of the Dolce & Gabbana packaging. I dislike that it gets messy and fingerprinted VERY easily.

For this EOTD I used UDPP and the following shades from The PlaylistChart Topper on the lid, Pumped in the crease, One Hit Wonder in the inner corners and to highlight, and Speaker Box in the outer V and to deepen the crease. I used MAC Black Karat Kohl Power as a liner and Benefit They’re Real! Mascara.

While swatching and playing around with this palette I thought it resembled a few other products. In my head they were closer dupes than when I swatched them together.

The first comparison is four of the shades in The Playlist (Pumped, Chart Topper, Remix, and Speaker Box) to Chanel Topkapi.

BE The Playlist on top, Chanel Topkapi on the bottom

The Playlist shades and Chanel Topkapi aren’t total dupes, there are slight differences to each shade. However you could still create the same basic eye look from both. The BE palette is much cheaper with the same high quality and with a much wider availability than Topkapi had.

The second dupe is two of the shades in The Playlist (Chart Topper and Max Volume) vs. NARS Rajathstan.

Nars Rajathstan is swatched in the middle above, from The Playlist – Chart Topper on the left, Max Volume on the right.

Definitely very different. Max Volume is obviously much more pigmented and green than the right side of NARS Rajasthan. Just… not even close.

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 8.0 retails for $40 and is available at Sephora and Ulta. The Playlist is Limited Edition.

Bare Escentuals THE SCENIC ROUTE bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 Swatches, Review and EOTD

I’ve made no secret about how I’m not a lover of loose mineral makeup. Bare Escentuals is a brand I’ve stayed away from because of this. Mineral makeup just tends to sink into my skin and disappear. It’s beautiful, but just doesn’t work for me.

Of course when Bare Escentuals released their pressed shadows, I had to check it out. During this years Sephora VIB sales, I grabbed a bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 in The Scenic Route.

From the Sephora website:

The Scenic Route(golden snowflake/ brilliant sage) is a brilliant duo of white gold and a golden khaki brown. The colors are absolutely vivid, and though I can’t comment on the anti-aging benefits, this duo does glide on and wear effortlessly.

I was impressed with the staying power and blendability of these shadows. I find them much better than the loose product. Be warned, the golden snowflake side of this duo may look light, but it is mighty and packs a whopping pigment. This is likely the most pigmented white gold I’ve ever seen and I’m enamored with it.

Here is a quick eye look I did using The Scenic Route. The liner is Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Liner in Smog and the mascara is Le Metier de Beaute Anamorphic Lash Mascara in Jade.

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 retail for $20 each and are available at Sephora and Ulta. I will definitely be bringing you more of these duos in the future! A++++ Bare Escentuals!! Thank you!

Bare Escentuals bare Minerals BRONZED High Shine Eye Color Swatches & Review

A LONG time ago I saw these reviewed on Temptalia and they received quite high honors from her. I was intrigued. I do not like Bare Escentuals Mineral Eye Shadows, but these are presented a little differently.

From the Sephora website:

What it is:
A high-intensity color eye shadow.

What it does:
This vibrantly colored shadow imparts a mega-watt sheen. The velvety-smooth formula glides on effortlessly for an extra creamy, opaque, foiled effect.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Synthetic Fragrances
– Synthetic Dyes
– Petrochemicals
– Phthalates
– GMOs
– Triclosan

What else you need to know:
A convenient, quick-draw wand allows for easy, on-the-go application. Free of preservatives and chemical irritants. Ophthalmologist tested. Safe for contact lens wearers.
Size: 0.05 oz

(this is BE Bronzed with Illamasqua Glister Precision Ink)

What I like: It actually applies REALLY well with the given applicator. The color was smooth, and I didn’t have fading issues like with their normal Mineral Eye Shadows. While I wasn’t crazy about the color (even though it looks like it would be part of my beloved browns/neutrals color palette, I found this to be slightly brassy on me) I wouldn’t be opposed to buying in a different shade.

What I don’t like: The applicator is spring loaded, so when you unscrew it pops out. It doesn’t go flying, but I just don’t personally like that. Also, when you pull out the applicator, don’t be alarmed, it’s going to look like you’re missing about 25% of your product. It’s by weight, of course, but I don’t like to see things emptying. I’m weird like that lol

Bare Escentuals bare Minerals High Shine Eye Color retails for $16 and can be picked up at Sephora, Ulta and BareEscentuals.com. This is available in 8 colors.

Bare Escentuals bare Minerals STRUT YOUR STUFF 500 Point VIB Gift Swatches, Review, and EOTD

Not gonna lie. I got this 500 pt Sephora VIB gift because I loved the peacock bag. It sort of makes me a little sick to know I spent 500 hard earned Sephora points for a BAG.. but this one expands! And holds brushes! Tell me it’s ok! lol

I’ve mentioned before that I’m not a huge fan of Bare Escentuals. I’d seen this 500 point gift on the Sephora site and loved the look of the bag, but I had to pass because I haven’t had great experience with the brand and their mineral shadows. Once I saw the bag in person at Sephora, though, I knew I couldn’t resist any longer.

Clear Radiance All-Over Face Color, Peacock Glimpse

Flawless Definition Mascara

The Bare Escentuals bareMinerals “Strut Your Stuff” 500 Point VIB gift comes with “An expandable makeup bag with show-off shades for face, lids and lashes.” The collection includes:
* Small Clear Radiance All-Over Face Color – I really have no use for a product like this. It DOES offer a nice brightening effect to the cheeks and actually looks nice as an eyeshadow highlighter shade. It’s definitely a multi-use product and feels really nice. It’s just not generally something I would personally wear.
* Small Peacock Glimpse – this mineral eye shadow color is SO gorgeous. A beautiful and extremely shimmery green, it did pat on well and I experienced very little fall out. My only sadness is that I DID expect a shade called Peacock to be a little brighter.
* Flawless Definition Mascara in Black – This mascara has a really neat brush. I actually expected it to separate the lashes well, but that part seems to be the only thing it didn’t do. This mascara REALLY elongates the lashes and curls them up. I combed through the lashes and that seemed to separate them a bit, but make sure you do that before the mascara dries, or you’ll have a heck of a time.
* Expandable Makeup Bag – I loveeee this bag. Peacocks are so beautiful and the colors of this bag are truly amazing. The interior features places to hold brushes as well as a clear, zippered side (the expandable side) for all of your makeup goodies. Perfect for travel or to throw in the diaper bag for when you have kiddies (which is what I’ll be doing, so I can carry all my crap and one less bag lol)

For the pictures above you can see a bit of fading is already happening (yes I used a primer), and I only waited about 20 minutes before taking the pics. The mascara was done in 2 coats.

I’m unsure if this bag is still available at any Sephora, and I’m under 500 points now so I can’t see if it’s still on the website.. but the bag is pretty awesome and I do like the mascara quite a bit. If you’re a Bare Escentuals fan it’s a must have. If you’re a peacock fan it’s a must have, for obvious reasons.

The full size Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Eye Shadows run $13, though I don’t see this particular one on the Sephora website. However I do see that it’s on the Bare Escentuals website, where you can also get free shipping if you spend $50.

The small size Clear Radiance All-Over Face Color retails for $6.50 and can be found on the BE Website as well. A larger size is also available for $19.00 and can be found on the BE Website as well as Sephora.

Flawless Definition Mascara retails for $18.00 and can be found on the BE Website as well as Sephora.
