A cosmetics line developed by a makeup artist may not be news to you, but a line by a makeup artist that is not only very affordable but carries amazing products is super rare in my book. Eddie Funkhouser is the talented artist I'm talking about whose line comes housed in sleek packaging and in a wide range of colors.
I'm excited to share several products with you today which will help to create a soft Spring Look that will be perfect for any occasion.
Bedroom Eyes Hyperreal Eye Color Palette ($14.99) clockwise from top left: COY - Shimmering frost white, SASSY - Shimmering lavender rose, DEMURE - Pearlescent smoky grape, RISQUE - Matte smoky taupe. These shadows blended so beautifully and felt so silky and smooth when I applied them to my eyes. They lasted a full day on me without creasing or fading over Urban Decay Primer Potion.
Peep Show Ultra Intensity Cheek Color ($8.99) is described as a bright pink. It's got a satin finish, perfectly pigmented and easily blendable. With one sweep of your brush you'll get the perfect flush of color. If your skin tone is darker than mine you'll be happy to know that this blush is buildable and I believe will be flattering across the board. If you're very fair skinned apply cautiously and add more as needed. This blush lasted all day (approx 8 hours of full out running around) with only very light fading around the edges.
Sugar Kisses Hyperreal Hydrating Lip Gloss ($10.99) is described as a pearlescent apricot. This shade is gorgeous with a semi-sheer, non-sticky finish. Perfect for everyday. I found that this lip gloss lasted approx 4 hours sans eating/drinking.
Below I'm wearing Bedroom Eyes, Peep Show and Sugar Kisses in my FOTD.
I'm so in love and can't wait to check out more!
Eddie Funkhouser Cosmetics can be purchased at Urban Outfitters and online at nastygal.com, gloss48.com and eddiefunkhouser.com. This line is also available at some Rite-Aid locations, but I haven't personally spotted them in my area.
