October 2014 Glossybox Swatches Review

From Sesha, Botanical Hydro Mask. I heart sheet masks. They feel amazing and this one is packed with extracts of moisturizing cucumber fruit, green tea and marigold. You only get one per package but it's not as expensive as a lot of other masks ($9.00). I love how this feels on and I love how my face feels afterwards even more.

From Vince Camuto, Amore Eau de Parfum. Pretty bottle alert! I'm always so taken with the pretty perfume bottles. I need them all. Anyway, this one is even more adorable because it's a mini size. The fragrance is lovely. On me I definitely notice the floral aspect of it, but it's not overdone or headache inducing. The description mentioned the word "earthy" which always puts me off but I didn't think this was earthy at all. More like heavenly. All you need is a few dabs or this will become a bit overpowering.

From Tarte, Power Pigment in Flush. Power Pigment, indeed. This twist-up lip tint is inspired by the brand's cheek stains and applies fully opaque. There's a hint of mint to it and I just love that because the scent relaxes me. The staying power is great and lasts through light water drinking/eating leaving a stain behind.

Tarte Flush Power Pigment Swatches

From Proganix, Volume Root Boost Finish + Body Builder. This works more like a hair spray for me and a little goes a very long way. You have to watch because applying too much makes your hair stiff, but it's good for slight volume and hold.

From Nails Inc., Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat. Who doesn't like Nails Inc? And who doesn't love a matte finish for your Fall tips? This is a great topper for your vampy shades or to make a funky french mani!

October 2014 Glossybox review

As a special gift Glossybox included a $40.00 gift card to sign up for a discounted HelloFresh food box subscription. This service delivers recipes and ingredients to your door every week. I'm certainly not one for being top chef, so I will take all the help I can get. Three meals a week for 4 people is $129.00. For 2 people it's $69.00 so I imagine I'll try that out first and make sure I like it and it's enough food for everyone. My kids are little garbage disposals. They're not picky and they'll eat ALL the food in the house before you can blink. From the looks of it, this service looks absolutely perfect if you live alone or just with an SO.

Hello Fresh Gift Card

The October shipment was definitely well worth it. The $40.00 gift card aside you still get a full sized Tarte product which carries a $24 retail. I love the matte top coat and the fragrance is wonderful... IMO this entire box was a win!

With GlossyBox you get a bit of everything, makeup, skin care, hair product… I love that this subscription box is sure to cover all of the bases, every single month.

GLOSSYBOX is a subscription service. You sign up on the website and then from there you can order your subscription based on one month, six months, or a year. You’ll answer a series of questions and based off of that, you will receive a customized box. This is all pretty standard for a beauty subscription service.

The price is a bit higher than that of other services you may have heard of or belong to. At $21 I would expect double the awesomeness of what I’d receive from, say, Birchbox.

GLOSSYBOX will always offer a MINIMUM of five products. After receiving your box, you can fill out more surveys in order to rate the products you received so they can better tailor your next package. So, basically, after a few months of the service, your packages should be PERFECT.

**TIP – Make sure you review the products received in your GLOSSYBOX to receive 20 GLOSSYDots per review. You can use these toward your own free box!**

If you sign up before October 31, 2014 click here & enter code GBGLAM at checkout for a FREE Glamglow Youthmud Mud-Mask ($19 value). Offer not valid for limited edition boxes. Monthly, 3, 6 & 12 month subscriptions only.
