I may or may not have lost my mind when I saw that NARS was releasing a 15 shade eye palette of their signature eyeshadows. These are the best of the best, you guys! Also aptly named after their Twitter moniker - NARSissist!
The casing is just an over-sized version of the usual casings we see from NARS in that it's black, rubbery and has the white lettering. Only after the NARS they added an issist.
There are 15 shades within this palette, some are from duos, some are from singles, all are permanent from the collection.
Row 1:All About Eve I: a flesh-toned neutral, Madrague II: a matte caramel, Fez: a velvety cocoa, Bali: a neutral, Coconut Grove: a deep brown infused with reflections.
Row 2: Madrague I: a matte cream, Nepal: a soft, sheer rose, Ashes to Ashes: a shimmery violet-based brown, Brousse II: a black violet, Mekon: an espresso infused with gold.
Row 3: Bellissima I: a shimmering beige with subtle glitter, Lhasa: a lavender grey, Bad Behavior: a deep pewter, Dogon II: a charcoal black, Pandora II: a matte black.
The size of the eyeshadows, as I'm sure you can tell, are smaller than what you'd see normally in the singles ($25), duos ($35) and even trios ($45). However, with the pricing as it is the value is good, especially if you don't own any of these already or need an awesome, travel-friendly palette that will cover all of the basic day to smoky eye looks. Even though the shades are smaller I didn't notice any difference in quality, all of the shades performed for me just as well as the larger sizes.
Look 2: Shadows used - Coconut Grove, Fez, Nepal, Bellissima 1. Eyeliner - em Cosmetics Bronze Kiss Waterliner. Mascara - Josie Maran GOGO Instant Natural Volume Argan Mascara.
