NARS Cosmetics partnering with Konstantin Kakanias to create the box artwork for the Under Cover Summer 2016 Collection is basically all of my artsy dreams wrapped up into beautiful packaging and stunning makeup products. (Note: my samples weren't sent with packaging, so that's why you're not seeing it right now, when I buy the rest you'll see it!). While the collection itself isn't large it packs an impressive punch to any color obsessed heart while still keeping the lovers of stunning neutrals wrapped around it's finger.

Ten beauty products will be launching within the color collection this week and I have four to share with you below!

Deep End Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow ($29.00 // Deep End is described as a shimmering teal-green. This shade is so stunning. It does have a sheerness to it, so, for the first time ever in Dual-Intensity world, you're going to hear that I prefer to use this one wet for full pigment. It also looks incredible pressed over base colors (I used Hollywoodland Velvet Shadow Stick in the look below). Three other Dual-Intensity Eyeshadows will be available in Tan Lines (rich hazelnut), Topless (seashell pink) and Pool Shark (iridescent periwinkle). I'm obsessed with them all and the rest shall be mine!

Liberation Dual-Intensity Blush($45.00 // Liberation is described as a shimmering light pink/caramel rose. Like the Dual-Intensity Eyeshadows the blushes can be worn wet or dry. I prefer wearing them dry and found the right side to have lovely pigment. The left side swatches with good pigment but wears lightly so you have to build it a bit to get color to happen or use it wet. This duo is soft and easy to apply/blend out. One other Dual-Intensity Blush will be available in Sexual Content (sandy peach/soft raspberry).

Lip Cover ($28.00 // Of the four Lip Cover shades I have two of them in Overheated (deep dusty rose) and Do Not Disturb (vivid orange-red). I'm loving the pigment on these two shades and they apply/wear evenly. If you're not eating or drinking heavily these will give you 6-8 hours of wear, but if you're going full sandwich at lunch expect to re-apply. I'm loving them because they're so comfortable and not completely matte or glossy. It's the perfect in-between marriage of the two. So stunning, definitely must-haves and I'm totally buying the other two! The other two Lip Cover shades releasing are Get Dirty (desert rose) and Members Only (crimson), which is a Boutique exclusive.

In the swatches below they're all done dry (unless marked) and on bare skin (no primers):

In the FOTD below I used: (FACE) I primed my face using Benefit The POREfessional Matte Rescue and then Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer. The foundation is PÜR Cosmetics Hydrafluid in Light and I used Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum as a concealer. I also added on a bit of IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation in Light Medium for fuller coverage. To finish off the face I dusted on a bit of Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder to set everything. For contour I used NARS Casino, blush is the left side of the NARS Liberation Dual-Intensity Blush and the highlight is the right side of NARS All About Eve Duo Eyeshadow. (EYES) I primed my lids with NARS Hollywoodland Velvet Shadow Stick and then applied NARS Deep End Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow over the entire lid except the inner corners, blending it well into the crease but still letting a bit of Hollywoodland show. Next I went into NARS Liberation Dual-Intensity Blush and used the right side for blending into the crease. At the inner corners I used the right side of NARS All About Eve Duo Eyeshadow and the left side to blend out the crease and highlight. I also smudged a bit of the right side of NARS Liberation Dual-Intensity Blush under the lower lash line. The top liner is NARS Carpates Eyeliner Stylo and the bottom liner is Anastasia Gold Metallic Eye Liner. The mascara is IT Cosmetics Superhero. (BROWS)Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Brow in Brown and Glossier Boy Brow. (LIPS)NARS Do Not Disturb Lip Cover.
