Zoya Stunning Nail Polish Collection Swatches & Review

Zoya Stunning brings the sunny, brights directly to your nails. These are the shades that we saw as pastel for Spring but now for Summer are morphed into vibrant colors for tips and toes!

Mickey

Mickey (amazing coral cream) is the perfect bright pink coral cream with a hint of shimmer. The formula was nice, but a little thin so I needed 3 coats to get good coverage.

Thandie

Thandie (citrus orange cream) is a hot coral orange cream with subtle shimmer. This nail polish is just excellent in every way possible. Formula, color, wear… top notch. Two coats of polish were used for the swatch photo.

Josie

Josie (grassy green cream) is a freaking amazingly gorgeous green cream. Beautiful color, beautiful formula, opaque in 2 coats. Marry me.

Yana

Yana (rubine red cream) well this certainly isn’t red, and rubine means ruby… soooo… yeah it’s a hot pink cream with slight shimmer. I thought this shade was beautiful regardless of the off description and the formula was good. Only two coats were needed for full and even opacity.

Rocky

Rocky (serene blue cream) is a pretty robin’s egg blue that had a great formula and was opaque in two coats.

Darcy

Darcy (sunny yellow cream) is a beautiful shade of creamy yellow with a slight shimmer, but the formula left a lot to be desired. I never have luck with yellow. It was hard to get even, but it’s semi-decent with three coats.

My must haves from this collection are Josie, Thandie, Yana and Rocky. At that point might as well just get the whole set via the sampler lol I also posted shots of these polishes on my Instagram. Be sure to follow

Zoya Irresistible Nail Polish Collection Swatches & Review

Zoya Irresistible. Six shades of polish that truly are… well… irresistible. All of the shades apply well (do you expect anything less when it comes to Zoya?!) with most only needing two coats of polish.

Hazel

Hazel (blue green foil metallic) is more like a grey-blue with gold flecks. It’s my second fave out of the six from this collection, I own nothing like it! Two coats were used in the photo.

Kerry

Kerry (yellow gold foil metallic) is bright and pretty. Though it isn’t terribly unique, if you don’t have a similar one in your stash, Kerry is a great shade to add to your collection. Two coats were used in the swatch photo.

Tinsley

Tinsley (rose gold foil metallic) is likely my favorite polish on Earth. As beautiful as it is in pics, you’ve just got to see it for yourself in person. It’s a stunning pink rose just saturated with gold. Two coats were used in the swatch photo.

Rikki

Rikki (fern green foil metallic) is a medium green with gold flecks. This one was a little more sheer than the rest, requiring three coats for full opacity.

Bobbi

Bobbi (hot magenta pink foil) has the thickest formula of the bunch, and though I think I could get away with one coat I applied two for the photo. to make sure the color was even.

Amy

Amy (red orange foil metallic) is an insane orange popsicle color with gold flecks. It’s siren type sexy. Two coats of polish were used in the photo.

My must haves from this collection are Tinsley, Hazel, Amy and Rikki. At that point might as well just get the whole set via the sampler lol I also posted shots of these polishes on my Instagram. Be sure to follow

Zoya PixieDust Nail Polish Swatches & Review – Summer Edition

Because the original PixieDust Collection was so successful, Zoya has released a vibrant Summer line of the exclusive matte sparkle formula. Who doesn’t want more PixieDust in their lives?

Two coats of nail polish were used in all of the swatches shown below.

Just like with the previous PixieDust Collection, all of these are must haves. I love the bling and whimsy of this formula and it actually wears very well for a polish that dries matte.

Some tips for Instructions for Zoya PixieDust application:

·         Clean and prep nail using Zoya Remove +
·         Magic Time! Apply 1 thin coat of Zoya PixieDust to each nail – allow to dry completely (will appear matte with sparkle).
·         Apply an 1-2 coats of polish (allowing each to dry) as desired. We suggest 2-3 thin coats of Zoya PixieDust for a full coverage manicure.
·         That’s it – Done! You now have the latest textured nail look in the famous long-wearing, Big5Free Zoya PixieDust Nail Polish formula!

NOTE: Zoya PixieDust Nail Polish dry times are a little slower than with traditional polish but once dry, the Zoya PixieDust formulation will provide extended wear.

Zoya PixieDust Nail Polish Collection Swatches & Review

PixieDust is a new, exclusive formulation from Zoya and dries as a matte sparkle. This collection features six new shades, with more to come this Summer!

Below for all of the swatches, the middle finger has a top coat on top. It only made a very slight difference, and you can still feel it the graininess (though not as much). I thought you’d like to see how it looks with and without one, though

These all applied so nicely, even one coat looked lovely! Removal wasn’t too bad as long as you saturate the cotton ball and scrub. I expected it to be a lot worse so that’s a big check in the WIN column!

Godiva

Godiva is a soft nude sparkle. Three coats were used for the photo. So, I just have to say, the name Godiva makes me think of chocolate. I would have loved to have seen Godiva be a chocolate brown colored PixieDust. OMG could you imagine how pretty?!

Vespa

Vespa is a mint kiss sparkle. Three coats were used in the photo.

Nyx

Nyx is a perfect periwinkle sparkle. Three coats were used in the photo.

London

London is a fog gray sparkle. Three coats were used in the photo.

Chyna

Chyna is a red dazzle sparkle. Three coats were used in the photo but two would have been sufficient with this one.

Dahlia

Dahlia is a black beauty sparkle. Three coats were used in the photo but two would have been sufficient with this one.

All of these are must haves. I just love the look of this formula, so blingy! I think it’d look awesome to have a full on nude mani then do up your ring finger in Godiva! Same with the other shades, just like an added bit of whimsy to your mani. You can’t go wrong

Zoya Lovely Nail Polish Collection Swatches & Review – Spring 2013

For Spring 2013 Zoya has developed six shades of ‘Lovely‘ polishes in pastel colors – three cream and three shimmering metallic. As much as I adore the deeply saturated and vampy shades of winter, it’s still like a breath of fresh air to see these lighter and more fun colors.

GeiGei

GeiGei is a delightful shimmering pink metallic. Three coats were needed for full coverage. (Originally designed for Zang Toi/SS13).

Piaf

Piaf is a shimmering golden yellow metallic. I needed three coats for full coverage, but it’s so beautiful I don’t even care! (Originally designed for Fashion Designer Zang Toi).

Neely

Neely is a mint green cream. I love this shade for spring, and Neely is a good one to have on hand for the season. I needed two coats for full coverage. (Originally designed for Peter Som/SS13).

Julie

Julie is a shimmering lilac metallic. I need three coats to cover the nail completely. (Originally designed for Zang Toi/SS13).

Jacqueline

Jacqueline is a warm nude cream. One of the few that didn’t seem to wash me out! I used two coats for full coverage. (Originally designed for Peter Som/SS13).

Blu

Blu is a cheerful pastel (you guessed it) blue cream. This one had the best formula out of the six. It needed two coats for full opacity, but it coated well and was nice to work with.

Overall, this is a fun, flirty and very girlie collection. Though I do recommend all of them, my faves were Piaf and Blu. They were the nicest to work with and I just love the colors!
