What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates

- Triclosan

First off, this set comes with a SUPER cute canvas wristlet.  It’s roomy and hangs delicately on the wrist.  Perfect for jeans or a night out in your favorite maxi dress!  (I’m also REALLY loving that interior!)

As we peek inside, we find the essentials for heating up your summer look:

First, I’d like to focus on the  eye palette – LORAC Wild for TANtilizer Eye Shadow Palette:

(L-R: Fierce, Tigris, Panthera, Saber)

There are four shades of eye shadow in this palette.  Fierce, a frosty tan; Tigris, a pearly bronze; Panthera, a vintage frosty gold; and Saber, a shimmery warm brown.

LORAC shadows have always been phenomenal, I’m a long time fan of them.  The pigment is amazing, the shadows are soft and they apply flawlessly.

This warm-toned quad is perfect to create multiple Summer looks for day and evening.

Next we move on to the Bronzing Powder:

(L-R: gold, bronze, mixed)

The Bronzing Powder is a beautiful zebra pattern of gold and bronze.  Unfortunately the gold is just an overspray and is gone after first swipe.  The gold does mix lightly in with the bronze, though, so it still remains a frosty, light bronze highlighter.

A look at the Bronzing Powder missing some overspray:

On to the Lips With Benefits Gloss!

The shade that comes with this set is Raoul, which is a rather frosty apricot with shimmers.  I am in love with this shade.  It’s the perfect sunkissed lip and it SMELLS AMAZING!  It is a bit stickier than I like, but isn’t unbearable.

Finally, on to the FOTD!  (in my super fancy University of Pittsburgh hoodie lol)

LORAC aquaPrime Oil Free Makeup Primer – Swatches and Review

Always on the look out for a light-weight face primer that is oil, silicone AND fragrance free?  Your search has ended with the LORAC aquaPrime Oil Free Makeup Primer!

What the Sephora website has to say about aquaPrime Oil Free Makeup Primer:

What it is:
A revolutionary water-based makeup primer.

What it is formulated to do:
Moisturizes and prepares your skin for silky smooth makeup application with a lightweight, colorless gel texture that’s free of fragrance, silicone and oil.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Petrochemicals
- Phthalates

What else you need to know:
aquaPRIME™ contains sodium hyaluronate, which hydrates and helps diminish the appearance of fine lines, creating an ultra smooth canvas for perfect, long-lasting, luminous makeup.

When pumping out the LORAC aquaPrime Oil Free Makeup Primer, you must be careful.  The formula is runny, and a little will go a long way. After you apply, make sure you wait a few minutes for all of it to soak in before you apply your makeup.  I like to apply this and then do my eye makeup.  By the time that is done, everything is dry and ready for foundation and powder.

Though it looks very watery, this product does absorb quickly into the face for a smooth and hydrated feeling.

Face primers are usually hit or miss for me, but this one is a definite hit and one I will continue to use!

LORAC aquaPrime Oil Free Makeup Primer retails for $32.00 and is available at Sephora and Ulta.

LORAC Hollywood Baked Matte Satin Blush Swatches & Review

Before I started blogging I was REALLY into LORAC. I love the shadow palettes and how pigmented the shadows are. Being a fan of the shadows, I don’t know why I didn’t ever try out blushes. Blushes are a major love for me.

I saw LORAC Baked Matte Satin Blush in Hollywood (Bronzed Rose) at Ulta, and the color sang to me. It looked dark, but when I was swatching the tester the shade was just so beautiful I had to take it home.

From the Sephora website:

Baked Matte Satin Blush
What it is:
A baked matte satin blush.

What it does:
LORAC Baked Matte Satin Blush contains a silky-smooth, highly pigmented formula that blends easily and evenly for natural, long-lasting glow.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Petro-Chemicals
- Phthalates

Size: 0.17 oz

I’ve worn this blush several times. The first time I wore it I thought it was pretty, but I wasn’t particularly blown away. The color lasted all day on my cheeks and it’s nicely pigmented. You need to pick up some color with your brush, tap or blow off the excess, and then pat on before you blend. It’s easy to build up the color from there.

As I wore it again and again I realized… I LOVE this color! I reach for it ALL the time! I’ve used this a few times since I bought it and it still looks brand new. With this product, you’ll be able to use it every day and it’s going to last you for awhile.

When you go to pick up this blush, do yourself a favor and check out their eye shadows too. There is a new palette called Color Me Couture that I’m DYING for!

The LORAC Baked Matte Satin Blush retails for $24 and is available in 5 shades. You can pick it up at Sephora, beauty.com, or Ulta.
