If you’re looking for a full coverage concealer look no further than Illamasqua Skin Base Lift Brightening Concealer!
When used correctly, this concealer is designed to create flawless coverage while brightening. Available in 7 shades (from Light 1 up to Deep 2) there is sure to be one that you can fall for!
What Sephora says about Illamasqua Skin Base Lift Brightening Concealer:
What it is:
A brightening concealer to lift, illuminate, and create flawless coverage.
What it is formulated to do:
Infused with warm peach tones to flatter every skintone, long-wearing Skin Base Lift blends easily, correcting uneven pigmentation and visibly lifting the eye area. It is designed to work in conjunction with Hydra Veil to refresh and rehydrate the area under the eye which is prone to unflattering and unwanted cool undertones and fatigue. For added brightening effect, custom mix each shade with Skin Base Lift White Light.
(L-R: Light 1, Light 2)
Light 1 is the shade that matches my particular tone the best – I run MAC NW20 but am neutral. Light 2 is more peach toned. Both are creamy and easy to blend. Swatched above I applied thickly, and these can be heavy, so I recommend dotting the product lightly on with your finger and blending well with a brush. You can always layer if you need more coverage, but it’s likely you won’t have to. Be sure to do one area at a time and blend quickly, as this product will set and wear through the day.
Rarely has a nail polish hit me as hard as Illamasqua Facet has. I don’t have anything quite like it in my stash and I can’t think of a spot on dupe. This nail varnish is beautiful, limited edition and, thankfully, still available!
What Bloomingdale’s says about Illamasqua Nail Varnish from this collection:
Two complementing shades that capture the essence of dawn and dusk. Inspired by opalescent crystals and flint, these varnishes create a mystical finish while being long-wearing and chip-resistant.
Facet has got this smokey olive taupe base with gold, copper and olive shimmer. It’s just absolutely breathtaking. The formula was really smooth and fully opaque in two coats.
Illamasqua Nail Varnish retails for $17.00 and is available at Sephora, Bloomingdale’s and Illamasqua.com. Facet is limited edition to The Sacred Hour Collection released in Fall 2013.
Just because it’s no longer the Halloween season doesn’t mean you can’t wear some amazing lashes. Sephora has a really cool duo of Bat Lashes and Swarm Nail Varnish for a great price, exclusively online!
And, if you’re not so into the harsh lines of the Bat Lashes, you can pick up a more demure (though still very dramatic and sexy) set of lashes like the ones shown below in Lush ($15.00). I loveeee these because of how feathery and seductive they look.
What Sephora says about the Illamasqua Bat Lash Duo:
What it is:
A duo containing matte black glitter nail varnish and unique bat-shaped false lashes.
What it does:
Own the night with this haunting, chic set. The bat lashes are hand-made and cruelty-free, and the set includes application glue. The highly pigmented, award-winning nail varnish is chip resistant for long-lasting spooky shimmer.
This set contains:
- 0.05 oz Nail Varnish in Swarm (black matte glitter)
- Bat-Shaped False Eye Lashes with Glue
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
What else you need to know:
This product was created using cruelty-free synthetic fibers. The included glue is latex-free.
The Nail Varnish in Swarm is the perfect match for your Bat Lashes (or really to accent your fave polish with a bit of small and large black glitter in a matte finish). I applied one coat below to a bare nail and added a top coat.
The Illamasqua Bat Lash Duo retails for $19.00 and is available online only, exclusively at Sephora. This item is Limited Edition.
