You might remember when I showed you one of the nail polishes from the Spring 2014 Guerlain Météorites Blossom Collection, a little limited edition beauty called Star Dust. While I was purchasing my favorite items from this particular Guerlain collection another nail polish also caught my eye… the vibrant A La Parisienne. I didn’t purchase that day because I thought I had something similar. But I couldn’t get it out of my head and a few days later I ended up placing an order.
What Nordstrom says about Guerlain Nail Lacquer:
Guerlain’s newest nail lacquers are indispensable allies for accomplished femininity. The ultra-vibrant shades incorporate adhesive resins to offer a perfectly even sheen that lasts for days. Using each shade’s extra-flat and widened brush, the easy-to-use formula imparts a shiny, daring and immaculate finish.
A La Parisienne is a pinked hue I like to call rock lobster red. The formula is fantastic – very easy to paint on and control. The shade is a little on the sheer side. I’m happy with two coats, but there is some visible nail line. In the swatch above I used three coats.
