Nail Care products are available by the thousands.. maybe even more. For this Top 10 Tuesday I’m narrowing down my top nail care products to just ten. Oddly, I didn’t have 10 of any one item (such as cuticle oil or base coats, etc) to narrow this down with. It seems when I find a nail care item I love I stick with it, which is good news because you’ll know these items are HG for me and not just a passing fancy!
In no particular order:
Cult Nails Glass Nail File. I’ve had this for at least a year, maybe two? I think I paid $10 way back but now they’re $15 and come with a case. But that’s how long this lasts! Well worth the investment!
Nicole by OPI Oil to Go. This just recently released, but it’s perfect for keeping in your purse. I’m always running out the door and I look at my nails and I’m all… ew. Especially in the winter, moisturize those cutes!
LUSH Lemony Flutter. Is there anyone out there who doesn’t use this?! I smear it all over my hands, pop on some gloves and hang out. It’s a savior.
Gloves. Seriously. Get yourself manicure gloves and soak that cream and oil in. Remember SOAK and LOCK!
Rose Gold was a big hit for 2013, and it’ll definitely be carrying over into the New Year. For this edition of Top 10 Tuesday we’re featuring out Top 10 Rose Gold Products. I chose to focus on beauty, but I definitely could’ve gone the way of jewelry at this point!
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette – The latest to the UD Nakeds, of course this palette makes the list! Out of all of the Naked palettes this one is my fave and I feel it’s the most widely wearable. Must have!
MAC RiRi Hearts M·A·C Holiday Cosmetic Bag – Not really so much a beauty “product” but it holds lots of beauty products! I ordered this sight unseen, unsure of how good the quality would be or if I’d even like it. I love it! The quilted fabric feels plush and it’s a definitely win. Review to come!

The butter LONDONFall 2013 Colour Clash Collection features five fun and bold shades and one glaringly white shade to amp up your mani with some vibrant nail art (like my 4th of July not-so-conventional mani)! Of the six shades I’m really excited to share with you Cotton Buds, Cake-Hole and Silly Billy!
Cotton Buds(bright white cream) – This is an excellent white shade, coating evenly and completely in two coats.
Cake-Hole (an eccentric watermelon pink) – Aside from having a name that just cracks me up every time I see it, this polish is flawless. It paints on almost like it’s air and is absolutely gorgeous. Two coats.
Silly Billy (a juicy deep orange) – is so orange it makes me thirsty when I look at it. The formula was smooth on this one as well. Two coats.
These picks from the butter LONDON Fall 2013 Colour Clash Collection are all must haves in my book. Cotton Buds is perfect if you don’t have a white polish (it’s so hard to find one that isn’t streaky) and Cake-Hole is the essential watermelon neon shade everyone should have for at least their toes. If you’ve been on the hunt for that perfect orange, look no further than Silly Billy. I’m brutally impressed!
The butter LONDON Colour Clash Collection Nail Polishes retail for $15 each and can be found at Ulta, Sephora or online at butterlondon.com.
Six new shades of nail lacquer are released from Butter London in the 2013 Summer Holiday Collection – Bit Faker, Sunbaker, Champers, Poole, Marbs and Bobby Dazzler. I have three to share with you today – Poole, Sunbaker and Bit Faker – and more on my wish list!
Poole is a lovely blue cream, reminding me of a robin’s egg meets Tiffany blue. The formula was quite nice and I only needed two coats for full and even opacity.
Sunbaker is a brassy metallic orange with flashes of gold, making the polish glow in the light. This polish painted on so nicely and was fully opaque in two coats.
Bit Faker is a true full coverage glitter with shades of copper, bronze, rose gold, gold and silver. It’s insane how gorgeous this is. There are no words, just look at it. It’s a top coat sucker, so be warned it has a bit of a gritty feel. Only two coats were needed for full opacity.
These are clearly all must haves, though you may have something similar to Poole in your stash. My fave is Bit Faker… the dimension is just so beautiful! As for my wish list, I absolutely must get my hands on Champers!
