Just when I think I’ve found the easiest way to do up my eye brows I get proven wrong. IT Cosmetics has a wonderful YBBB (Your Brows But Better) product in the form of Brow Power Skinny Universal Eyebrow Pencil.

The shade is in Universal Transforming Taupe and I think this would work best on people with medium to dark colored hair. If you have very blonde or very dark brown-black hair you may find that this won’t work for you or you’d need to use it with another product.

I thought this pencil was quick and easily to fill in the brows and looked very natural. Definitely one of the best I’ve tried. Not to mention it’s water-proof, sweat-proof and smudge-proof… whew!!

Billion Dollar Brows Swatches & Review

Your eyebrows are what frame your face. They finish off your look, and let’s face it… some of us have some not so perfect brows (ME!).

Chantecaille Eye Brow Perfector Brush Photos & Review

I don’t own anything from Chantecaille (except for maybe a mini-gloss), so why not start off an obsession with a makeup brush? The Chantecaille Eye Brow Perfector Brush grabbed my attention because of the of the jaw-like look to the brush end.

Isn’t that neat? It made me think, wow… that must really do some wondrous things to brows and be super innovative since I’ve never seen anything like it before. It sat in my Nordstrom cart for about a month before I went for it.

What the Nordstrom site has to say about the Chantecaille Eye Brow Perfector Brush:

A small, dual-ended brush, ideal for maintaining eyebrow shape and blending color. Made of luxuriously soft boar hair.

This brush manages to pick up the perfect amount of powder and makes it simple to dab along the brow and then blend. Flip it around to use the spoolie side to comb through the brows and you have the perfect eye brow every time.

If you tend towards getting too sharp of a line with your regular angled brow brush, consider this to make the brow look more natural and refined.

MAC Brunette, Deep Brunette Veluxe Brow Liner Swatches & Review – The Stylish Brow

Ready for perfect brows? MAC has you covered with the recent launch of the Stylish Brow Collection. The collection contains new products in powder formulas (Brow Duos), gel (Fluidline Brow Gelcreme), and today’s post of the Veluxe Brow Liner pencils.

The pencils arrive in five shades and I have two of them to share with you today – Brunette & Deep Brunette. Other shades include Strawberry Blonde, Redhead and Deep Dark Brunette.

What the MAC website has to say about the Veluxe Brow Liners:

The artist’s pencil of perfection. It fills, shapes and defines with a rich powdery formula that’s matte and velvety smooth. 1.19 g / 0.042 US oz

Brunette (muted, mid-tone grey) is the shade that matches up with me the best, though since I got my hair highlighted I might need to go a bit lighter.

Deep Brunette (muted, blackish-brown) is going to be for brunettes with very dark brown hair.

These pencils are super soft and pigmented. You need to gently guide them on with very light feather strokes. They will color your brows for the long haul, as I fell asleep in my makeup (you’re welcome) and when I woke up my brows still looked pristine. However, the rest of my face was another matter entirely.

You don’t want to match up wrong with these shades, as they are saturated on color and you don’t want to come off looking harsh. Use the brush on the opposite end to blend the color into the hair for a more refined look.

Le Metier de Beaute NATURAL BLONDE Brow Bound Eyebrow Pencil Swatches & Review

Back in my early days of loving Le Metier de Beaute I ran into a problem. I had heard all of these amazing things about their Brow Bound Eyebrow Pencils but had no counter near me to test and see which shade would suit me best.

Because of this several people had told me to use Fawn, because it was the most universal. Fawn had a taupe-ness to it and was too grey for me. But I loved the formula and how my brows reacted to it. I had wanted to go and purchase the Brunette shade next, and just hope for the best… but never did. Luckily, during my recent trip to my Uncle’s and my experience at the LMdB counter, artist Lisa matched me as Natural Blonde for my brows! Never, ever would have thought me for a Natual Blonde! LOL!

Le Metier de Beaute FAWN Brow Bound Eyebrow Pencil Swatches & Review

In the market for an easy to use and smooth eye brow pencil? Look no further than Le Metier de Beaute Brow Bound Eyebrow Pencil!

The LMdB Eyebrow Pencil has a nice waxy feel that tamed my brows and gave them nice form, however the shade is totally NOT good for me. I don’t have an LMdB counter near me, and Fawn is said to be the most universal shade, but I am just way too dark for it. As you can see from the swatch, Fawn has a taupe-ness to it. I will, however, buy another shade (likely brunette) because I love the feel and how easy this pencil was to work with.
