A line of Tinted Moisturizer has been added to the Urban Decay line of beauty. Urban Defense Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 is available in four shades - Halo, Bodyguard, Bulletproof, and Forcefield.

I'm always excited to try out a new tinted moisturizer, and was happy Sephora had the option to let their customers pick a sample card during a recent online purchase.

What the Sephora website has to say about Urban Defense Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20:

Urban Defense Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 retails for $30.00 and can be purchased at Sephora and Ulta.

What it is:
A tinted moisturizer with SPF 20.

What it does:
This tinted moisturizer helps you achieve a luminous, even-toned complexion without the full application of foundation. The light-diffusing pigments in this wonder-product diffuse the look of fines lines and wrinkles for a natural, youthful, dewy finish. With buildable coverage, it can be worn alone (great for warm weather) or under powder for a more polished look.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens

What else you need to know:
This fragrance-free tinted moisturizer contains SPF 20, as well as a multimineral complex that battles free radical damage.

This product has more of a foundation feel to it. A lot more coverage than your usual tinted moisturizer, but personally I like that. When you don't want something as heavy as a true foundation, but you NEED something with more coverage, Urban Decay Urban Defense Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 is the ticket.

I found that it blended well, but as you apply you need to work fast... it seems to set more quickly than I'm used to. Since the coverage is buildable with this product, I suggest applying lightly and in natural lighting. Wait a few minutes for it to set to be sure that the shade will be accurate. As it dries it appears to deepen a bit.

Unfortunately, there are only four shades available - the three swatched above, plus the darkest shade, Forcefield. For reference, I'm MAC NC25 and Halo (which is the lightest) matched the best to me. It was a bit too light, and the next shade up (Bodyguard) was too dark.

If they would produce more shades, this would absolutely be a product I'd buy.
